They lost over 200 bucks worth of belongings I have no way of finding any of it? This hospital changes protocol every month on to what your allowed to have. I wouldn’t bring my dead pet to them. Never have I experienced this behavior from staff. Find my shit or pay me back for all the stuff y’all lost.

I just went into the E.R. with a nasty case of cellulitis in my foot. My foot was dark red, quite swollen and, as normal for cellulitis infections, immensely painful. I had already taken an 800mg Ibuprofen and it wasn't doing much, so I asked if I could have one pain pill, just one, so I could sleep tonight. I'm 54, never had any felonies or drug conviction, never been in rehab or had a problem with drugs. Yet I was refused ONE PILL that was very understandably needed by me. But the smug, jerk of a doctor basically gave me the finger and kicked me out. Compassionate care my ass.

My dad went to urgent care earlier in the morning because his ear was hurting and his hearing was not well. They put an ear wick in his ear gave him antibiotics orally and for inside the ear. Telling him to leave the earwick for 72 hours and place the drops on the earwick. If he felt worse he needed to go to the emergency room. Well 5 hours later he had a fever and sharp pains in his head. I took him to munson cadillac and explained what happened at urgent care and that his symptoms have changed so we are here now. They called him back asked him questions checked vitals and so forth. He says follow me to us then states "what do you expect to gain from this visit?" I thought wtf and said I hope to gain that my nearly 70 year old father's ear infection hasn't moved further into his head and pray it's not an aneurysm. What do you mean what do we expect to get done here. He puts us in a room where we wait nearly 3 hours. Then the N.P brown straight hair glasses (rude as hell) comes in and says what's going on. I tell her his symptoms has worsened and urgent care said for him to come here. She says let me look in that ear. Sticks her finger in and just jerks the earwick inserted earlier Wednesday morning out. My dad screamed wth are you doing while jumping off his seat. She literally laughs and says I got to look inside. Then does says yes it's an ear infection then tries cramming the expanded earwick she just yanked out of his ear back into his ear. Earwicks are very thin when inserted then expand when they become wet with the liquid medication. He kept telling her she's hurting him and she proceeded to tell him he's acting like a baby. Now I have to take him back to urgent care to have the earwick replaced properly and pray there was no further damage done by the female ER N.P. who thought the whole matter was just hilarious at the pain and suffering of an elderly patient. I will edit this with her name. She's not the waste of time to go get the paperwork out of the car this late into the night. I hope she's treated exactly the same way when she's nearly 70 and in pain. To taunt and laugh at an old man that you were supposed to be helping. Shame on you! Then try and cram an expanded earwick into an ear that you stated is severely infected. Did you get your license out of a cracker jack box? The urgent care specifically said if his symptoms get worse he needs to be taken to the E.R. I just looked up signs of an ear infection that may have spread and he has two of the signs. They also stated several test could be done to see if it spread to the brain, nerves and severity of the spread. She did no blood work, not one test but yet we waited in a room for 3 hours for her to come in, cause further pain, insult my father for telling her she's hurting him all while laughing in our faces. No test were done, she reversed a previous MD treatment for healing the ear and she got pleasure from causing unnecessary pain. So did you keep us in there 3 hours to charge that to the insurance company? Why didn't you replace the earwick with a new one instead of trying to cram the giant used one back in? What was so funny about causing more pain to someone in pain? You are in the wrong line of work with the attitude, carelessness and enjoyment of putting others in pain or maybe this is the path serial killers take if they want to inflict pain and suffering on others and get away with it. If patients suddenly start dropping like flies up there; I will be passing your name along to a detective and your morbid demeanor.

Called spoke with representative on the phone. My question was , is this Munson hospital or Cadillac? I was unsure of the actual name yes it sounds silly. But, the person on the line didn't understand my question. What's the name of the hospital? I wanted to inquire about something, but Forget it.. More important to let everyone know they're being recorded..

Rude staff, when getting tests done. Emergency is a nightmare, and get half your testing done in the waiting room!! Unhonestly, go to Big Rapids or Grand Rapids it's worth the drive for the level of care!!

Listen, I get that there's a healthcare shortage and people will fill those positions so that the ones that are available are being overworked and underpaid and under stress. But I can also tell you that I have heard nothing but negative rumors on this place, and then I started going because of failed back surgeries and I've had horrible experiences. One experience I can just write off as a bad day but when it's several or every time then it's inexcusable. Because at the end of the day you're a hospital I know you're there to make money and it's a business but healthcare and taking care of people should be your first priority not treating them as a number. My last visit I saw a doctor come in the room within 5 minutes it was my second trip back in a week because of possible spinal leak he never checked my blood gave me an IV or anything but walked in the room and said good news it's no infection or spinal leak you're free to go. Without giving an IV or checking and running tests and when I mention that to him he said I've been a doctor 25 years I think I know more than you and I told him well I've had already had five back surgeries and possibly need a sixth and he says yep you just bought yourself another surgery. When I asked him to call my surgeons office to see if I needed transport he said it's holiday weekend because it was memorial Day weekend and that he wasn't going to bother them and for me to do it myself. So I did and the on call doctor said my advice is go to your local ER and be transported down for surgery I advised him that the hospital sent me away and said do it yourself. I'm a veteran, served in Iraq 06 and 07 as military police officer and my back was hurt during that time. And it puts a bad taste in my mouth when I run into issues with it and I'm treated as a number. Furthermore, my surgeon ordered up an MRI last Thursday and said he wanted to try to have it done within a week before I see him to know if it's a spinal leak and I need immediate surgery. Hospital staff never contacted me so I called them on Monday June 17th to see about scheduling they were rude on the phone and said we will be calling you back shortly to see if this is possible I never heard back. And tomorrow is my surgeon's appointment and he will now have nothing to look at to know for certain where he's going inside my body. As the owner who comments for people on here you should do more than say sorry about your poor experience here's our email or phone number to call for customer relations. That's like saying yeah yeah yeah we don't have time for that call and speak to a automatic robot recording and press one LOL. It kind of takes the human experience away and most people are not going to waste their time being put on hold just to be told what they are already know is going to be set.

Absolutely the worst place ever One step away from the morgue. Worst mannerism they don't care for or about patients. The do not listen to the patients. If they can't find a a reason the bullcrap it. They turn n burn patients with put ever helping. 90% of the staff can't even run an iv. Rude crude staff. They are playing with people's lives. If you choose to work in medical you already know it's hectic and busy. But dang. If you have to go here be sure to get a second opinion
