Building Blocks Therapy 4 Kids

We absolutely love it here. Our therapist is so sweet and caring but also hard working and informative. She always listens ...and treats my child professionally...and kindly. He's advanced more in the little time we've been with them ..than the company my child was previously with for years....I highly recommend. The staff doesn't treat children like a check or a revolving door...like most facilities.

We worked with Ms Nakisa for 3 years via Telehealth/ video appointments. She was so great helping our little one catch up and exceed goals and milestones. We enjoyed our time greatly even when it was hard work. Ms Nakisa is personable and fun with the little ones, making the high quality care more engaging and enjoyable for an infant/ toddler. Virtual appointments were great as they worked with our schedule and kept a high risk kiddo safe

My daughter hasn’t even seen this provider yet and I’m trying to switch her somewhere else. I’ve tried calling for almost two week leaving voicemails and sending messages and no one answers or calls back. It’s a scary feeling when your 9 month old needs PT and they don’t bother to contact you back and so that results with my daughter lot have any therapy.

I would give 0 stars if I could due to the discrimination, lack of transparency, and just overall games these clowns played with my son's treatment. If this place is your only option, I would request Heather if she is still there. There were 2 instances where my son was allowed to elope and run away into the parking lot, once by a sub OT, and the other by his former therapist, Kristen. Kristen was difficult to work with and did not appear to be physically able to perform her job as an OT unless her health situations were fabricated to avoid sessions with my son. Excuses after excuses about health and personal issues quickly became old, and the session quickly took a negative turn, leaving my son terrified and not wanting to participate in OT sessions with Kristen as a result. Kristen canceled sessions so frequently with my son that he spent more time missing sessions than attending the session. The owner, Meghan, shows no ownership or accountability and was completely non-existent during the challenges my son was experiencing at this clinic, even after I requested to speak to her, which speaks volumes of her character and they way that she runs a business, which is a complete liability. Fueds are always taking place between this place and neighboring tenants in the structure over parking. My son was used as a scapegoat because these cowards no longer wished to do business with Easterseals (I believe they lost their contract with Easterseals as a result), which worked out in the end because we were able to get away from Easterseals, and find a new provider through Kaiser directly. My son is now at a more reputable provider, and his current OT is better fit, and my son no longer hates OT sessions. Bottom line, if you can avoid this dump, run in the other direction. I regret not making a change sooner because I allowed my son's medical insurance to be pimped out by an unethical provider. Lesson learned. UPDATE: It is my understanding that Heather is no longer with Building Block, which is not a surprise because she actually seems to care about children. Also, we are still with the provider we left this dump for, so my son obviously wasn't the problem. Good luck to all that are willing to take the risk!🤞

Excellent staff & clean place

My son has been attending Building Blocks Therapy 4 Kids and has made a big surge of improvement. His therapist, Casey and Clara, have an amazingly positive attitude as well as innovation and professionalism. I have seen some professionals come and go, but the two therapists above uniquely stands out by displaying great talents, skills, intelligence and lots of patience. We placed our trusts in their experience and dependability that makes them a valuable asset of this company.
