I work here at Brookshire, & I can honestly say this is one of the best nursing facilities in Huntsville Alabama. The staff are nice & friendly, the nurses go above & beyond & the CNA’s here really care about the residents & love their job. Residents look forward to seeing all the happy faces when they get up in the morning & before they go to bed at night. Outstanding facility & great staff. I highly recommend, if I had to rate this facility, its a 10/10..We look forward to working with your loved one.

I am the Admissions coordinator here at Brookshire and I must say I love working here. We are now one big family in this building since we are under new management (VenzaCare) They have come in and showed us how much they truly care! We have created such a fun atmosphere and we provide great care for our residents all at the same time! 10/10 recommend!!

Brookshire's got the same issues that you'll find in any other for-profit facility like worker shortages and overcrowding, but I would recommend them for short-term stays. My father has advanced dementia, and he was treated with respect, was well fed and cleaned.

Brookshire has welcomed me with open arms since relocating from Boston and joing the facility as staff, August of 2023. My team, co-nurse Ola and CNA's that work with me weekend nights provide best care possible. We, the nurses that work on North side are caring compassionate, skilled and knowledgeable. We treat the residents like family with love, dignity, respect and empathy. Honoring their individuality, culture, and spiruality to the best of our ability.

I would give 0 stars if I could. They moved my family member here in the middle of the night and was met with not even blankets on the bed or anything in the room. No one answers call lights and leaves you waiting for hours. They are not careful with moving when my family member has broken bones and is a fall risk. The walker was not even in the room. Do not go here.

I just recently started working here, everyone I have met so far has been very kinda and friendly. I was able to ask questions and learn more about the facility without being judged for what I was asking. Very excited to keep growing and learning with this community

Brookshire has recently been transformed!!! As a Registered Nurse employed by Brookshire for a year, I have been blessed to be a part of this recent metamorphosis. Brookshire was recently purchased by a new company, and under this new management has been diligent in hiring only the most dedicated and empathetic caregivers. We offer exceptional medical care, now with in-house Doctors, and in-house Nurse Practioners. The strength in knowledge of our Nurses, CNAs, and Therapists are of the highest caliber! In addition, our Dining Services, is under new management, with exceptional quality, taste, and variety! No nasty "hospital food," here! It is said that the way to a man's heart, is through his stomach, and Ms. Angela has definitely won the hearts, if our residents. Similarly, the dedication to quality continues, with housekeeping. Ms. Diane runs a tight ship. Brookshire is commited to perpetual increase in transformation, as we rise in superiority in our quality of rehabilitation and long-term care. Not only are we experiancing an internal transformation, but a complete facility remodel is planned, and coming soon!!! Most importantly, the bottom line is we are family, and consider our residents to be a part of that family. We laugh together, eat together, joke around together, pray together, bicker with each other, cry together, and love each other. We are FAMILY. I would definitely recommend, and invite anyone to come be a part!

Brookshire has been a wonderful place to work! The staff is so kind and enthusiastic. Our team here really value our patients and take great care of them. We are having such a great success rate!
