I have been going to Brentwood PT and have had a good experience until I had to call and reschedule . I had an appointment and ended up sick and called the day before my appointment and left a voicemail to let them know I needed to reschedule because I was sick. I was sick for almost 2 weeks. During that time no one returned my call. So I called them and got the voicemail and left a message. Again no return call. So I kept calling leaving voicemails and getting no response. I decided today to drive down and see if I could talk to someone. When I arrived I told the lady Nancy at the front desk I have been calling leaving messages and getting no return calls. Nancy seemed like she was unbothered by the fact that I’ve been calling and leaving voicemails. She just asked me what kind of insurance I had and my last name. As she looks me up in the computer she tells me my referral is expired as of May 31st, 2024 but it’s only May 23rd, 2024. Then she tells me they have no appointments available until June. So I ask her if that’s why no one has called me back. She acts like she didn’t hear me and then tells me I need to contact the office to get a new referral. As I’m calling to get another referral. The phone rings at BWPT and Nancy answers it. When I’m on the phone trying to get a new referral the lady on the phone asks me when in June is the next available appointment? I told her they didn’t tell me but let me ask. Then I try to ask Nancy when in the June the next appointment is and she tells me to read the sign to the left. The sign basically said no cell phone use in the waiting room area. I turned around and walked out to finish my call. When I hung up I went back in and told Nancy they will send over a new referral. I was so upset at the fact they haven’t returned any of my calls and when I’m standing in the office Nancy had time to answer a call instead of helping me or returning my calls. She even walked away from the front desk and went to another little office/room to answer the call. Very rude and unprofessional. Nancy needs an attitude adjustment or to stop working with the public. PT Greg is great and very knowledgeable! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t go back at all!!!

My initial call to make an appointment, the female who answered the phone was not friendly and got the impression I was bothering her. I asked to make an appointment then she said they were booking far out. I said that was okay so I made an appointment. On arrival for my appointment, there was no one at the front desk. I waited 10 minutes, then the therapist came out. He applied heat to my neck for 15 minutes. I sat in the dark room for treatment room during that time by myself. When he returned, he gave me a sheet with three exercises to do for the next three weeks on my own. The receptionist or whoever she was, finally came to the front desk, and acted like I wasn't there. She greeted the customer behind me in a very friendly manner but acted like I was invisible. When I tried to make my next appointment, they wanted to schedule it out by three weeks. I told the receptionist I was supposed to be seen 2 times per week, every week for 6 weeks. At this point the therapist came out. I reminded him that the orthopedic surgeon prescribed therapy 2 times per week for 12 weeks. The therapist said those were just guidelines and therapy wasn't necessary that many times per week. So I made future appointments. In the meantime, I went back to the orthopedic surgeon for my followup appointment with him. He was appalled the therapist gave me a sheet with self-help instructions then sent me on my way. The surgeon said it sounded like the therapist didn't want to be bothered and didn't care. "Therapy should not be self help". The exercises I was given actually hurt my neck worse. The surgeon said therapy should actually cause less pain, not more. I moved on to another therapist. I had such a bad experience, I wanted to put it out of my mind. My bad, since I had made future appointments, I forgot to call to cancel them. Consequently, I was charged for missed appointments. My fault I was charged because I forgot to cancel my appointments. I spent $75.00 in co-pays for nothing. However, I wanted to let others know how awful this place is. In retrospect, it seems like some sort of a scam to bilk people's insurance and not provide actual therapy.

Received a referral to Brentwood Physical Therapy. Left 2 messages, never received a call back. On the third try, I reached someone who seemed bothered I called. I explained I had a referral, was immediately asked about my insurance, she said they didn't take it. I said they were on the provider list, then she said they were full and not taking patients, then she said they weren't booking until June. Very rude, not helpful, and don't return calls!!! All they had to do was return my call and let me know they were full and not accepting new patients, instead we had to plan a game!!!

I was given a referral for post op PT on my ankle and my Dr faxed a copy too. I literally spent one week, calling twice per day at various times and left 4 messages. Not ONE phone call has been returned, 8 days later. What sort of place is this? I'm assuming it's run by incompetent staff. Now I have a new referral for somewhere else in Brentwood. Thanks for delaying my PT Brentwood Physical Therapy.

At 68 years of age, I had slowly developed sciatica. I was hoping for some relief, but not a cure. Greg Hart, P.T., showed me where I could make improvements to my posture and where lax muscles had tightened. With exercises and massage to loosen that muscle, I am at 100%. I felt cared for and I felt I was in the best of hands.
