This place is amazing!! Hands down, they are the best in Detox facilities. Some of the nurses need an attitude check but fo the most part, they are great. Sarah, a counselor, is the best around! I love you Sarah, you impacted my life in such a short time. Demirri, went out of his to make sure my goals were met. And the food is wonderful. If anyone has anything bad to say about this facility, it because they made the issue. Thank you all for everything you do foll people. God bless you

My husband was there just this past weekend (July 20, 2024) and at first I was thinking it was going to be good for him...was I wrong. He calls me on that Monday and said a couple of hours after I left him there he came back from a group meeting only to find a male and female having sex in his room. He slammed the door and found a "counselor" and informed them of what was going on, the so called counselor opens the door and says "No females allowed in male rooms" and shuts the door. Never calls the 2 people out for any kind of disciplinary actions or anything. Later on that night after another meeting while my husband is sitting out on the gazebo a male and female walk up and are talking about the drugs they were doing the night before. Again, nothing done to them. I am outraged at this kind of behavior taking place at a rehab facility. I saw cameras everywhere there in the short period of time I was there and if they were being monitored properly then the female would not have been able to go in that room for any length of time. Someone should have seen that immediately and took action. People are there to get help and to get thier life back on track and others are there probably as court orders and there for "playtime" I am not happy about this at all and I will be going further than this review. However, my husband did get a transfer to another facility to get the treatment he needs.

My experience at Bradford Madison was brilliant I feel very safe after my father's death I showed up 8 Days later and I was made to feel very safe and secure as this was the most horrible thing in my life, I strongly recommend to anyone that needs to detox and get a hold of themselves to make decisions to go to their next place. Thank you Bradford.

Update** Bradford has since reimbursed me for my stolen watch since I first wrote this review! Even if it did take some effort on my part I didn't give up! So I am very thankful for that. And also for the program that has helped me completely change my life around! Just remember IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT! There's not ONE rehab out there that doesn't have defaults or perfect people in it..whether it's employees or patients! So my advice would be to just keep an open mind and remember you are surrounded by a bunch of addicts just like you...some more severe and some not! But remember you are there for a reason and the change has to start with YOU! The resources are there to help guide you in the right direction if you are willing to put in the effort and work! It's not going to be handed to you on a silver platter! I will forever be great full for Bradford and the continued after care that I still receive!! 🙏 PLEASE BEWARE THAT THEY HAVE AN INSIDE EMPLOYEE STEALING PATIENTS PERSONAL BELONGINGS BEFORE BEING ADMITTED! I honestly and trully had nothing but positive feedback to say about this place all up until I got discharged and received my personal belongings back that they took from me before I was admitted, my galaxy 4 classic watch, and galaxy phone, plus 8 pairs of shorts and hairspray etc. My galaxy watch however was not returned to me which was a $379 watch BTW. Also we found out from another patient that we became friends with while in there that he also got discharged without receiving his $800 apple ultra watch and a few unopened vapes that they took from him before being admitted! So this tells us that it HAD TO BE AN EMPLOYEE OF BRADFORD THAT IS STEALING THESE PERSONAL BELONGINGS FROM PATIENTS! So after receiving treatment and feeling like a million dollars leaving there all to get the first blow from the PLACE THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING YOU! ITS NOT A GOOD FEELING JUST LET ME SAY FROM MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE! AND I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MANY PEOPLE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO BEFORE US AS WELL AS AFTER US...SINCE THEY KEEP TRYING TO PUT US OFF AND IM SURE THEY THINK THAT WE WILL FORGET AND MOVE ON BUT IM NOT UNTIL I GET MY WATCH OR COMPENSATED FOR IT!

Everyone knows with therapeutic communities you get what you put in to it. However for addicts you need several things. You have to be in a safe environment with a team of caring staff and doctors. Bradford checked all these boxes for me. Not for a second during my stay did I feel unsafe or mistreated. The staff were dedicated and caring. They were instrumental in the massive amount of progress that I made in my short time there. I left with a set skills adapted for dealing with life on life's terms. If I had any constructive criticism at all. I would say that they could be more knowledgeable of the programs that patients transfer to upon completion of their program. It's already quite a shock leaving such a safe place. The patient needs to be as prepared as much as absolutely possible for what they are walking into. I personally believe that this gap may be what shocks many of us into poor decisions. But Bradford can't use our tools for us. It's not been easy but I've applied what's been given to me and against the odds I'm here and I'm clean. I'm extremely grateful for Bradford, Madison. Oh and the food is second to none. I'm pretty sure that I'm engaged to more than one kitchen worker. They are angels every one. My name is Jerry L. It works if you work it. Easy does it. God bless.

I had such a positive experience. The sincere care and genuine love for what the staff does there is real. I didn't want to leave that safe haven when my day came. I still miss them. A change occurred inside of me there. I'll forever be grateful for my experience at Bradford Madison!

I had a wonderful experience with Bradford Health in Madison. I've attempted rehab several times through the VA and haven't ever received the level of care as I did here. Their knowledge of addiction is excellent. In addition, their willingness and motivation to teach patients about the disease is unmistakable. The majority of Counselor Assistants here are in recovery themselves and put a genuine effort into helping patients based on that experience daily. I'm unable to speak highly enough about this place and owe my current sobriety to the amazing people here.

I entered this facility for a 5-7 day detox, and they tried to make me stay 30 days before I had even seen a counselor, and when I did finally see Alexis, my counselor she immediately lied to me which at that point broke any trust in her to open up. Come to find out that they only demanded that I stay there for 30 days because my insurance approved for up to 30 days and they just wanted the $$$. The facilities are rundown, the roof leaks, and 90% of the people there had multiple relapses, and it is so easy to see why. They keep these people so drugged up that they are not really detoxing, they are just feeding them the legal form of whatever substance they where on guaranteeing return customers. On the other hand, if you were in for alcohol, you truly got detoxed because there is no pill to mimic a shot of vodka. In closing, I was going to just leave on Wed, and take an AMA, but the head counselor Daniel asked me to just wait until Thu and they would give me a regular discharge. Upon checking out they told me that Daniel said to make it an AMA, so now I may be on the hook for the services, if my insurance decides not to pay. So now I see where his counselors get the lying from. If you love someone and want to get them some help for peaks sake, please look elsewhere.
