Bradford Health Services - Huntsville

This place is dangerous for women to be at. They do a horrible job separating the men from women and the men were always hitting on me. They started putting men on our hall, there were some nights that only 1 tech was there. We were very outnumbered. Feeling safe is one of the most important things in a treatment setting, especially for women dealing with trauma. I did not feel safe at all. I was only going here to detox for 10 days and move onto my actual treatment center. They held me there for THREE WEEKS. Saying they would do all the blood work and EKG I needed to get into the next place. They would tell me I had appts to do them then never take me. I was there from out of state and I felt trapped because I desperately needed to go the other rehab. Their detox is a joke. They let me lay down for a day and expected me to be up early and going to classes and groups. That makes a hard situation worse when you feel miserable. One of the nurses gave me medication that wasn’t mine and covered it up when he realized it. Told me not to tell anyone and he wouldn’t either. This is the absolute worst place I have ever been to, rehab or not. I cried when I got to the car to leave. The building and rooms are GROSS. I could go on and on. Do not go here or send a loved one.

I was recently a patient. I took something very sentimental and they lost it. I even emailed the director and didn't even get a response. Staff is not trained properly. The patients basically run the place.

They prescribed. E ao many drug combinations that weren't necessary. I trusted them but they nearly killed me. This is a terrible facility. The people in there with you might help more than the staff. You're just basically sitting around smoking cigarettes and hanging out with the guys. No structure, there's no 12 step program which is outrageous. Don't waste your time and money when better help is available.

Please do not seek help at Bradford or send your loved one’s here. All they care about is money. This is a warning you shouldn’t ignore. There are other places that actually care about you, but this place is not it. I wish I could give this horrible place negative stars.

I went to Bradford yesterday just for the CEO call the Madison police Department, Because my girl friend was a resident there, an the crazy part, they Uber me 31/2 hours, just to tell me to get off the property, then next thing I kno the police was there saying I brought a gun on property, please think hard before u are your love one in up in same situation I was put in, when it comes down to me being blk an my girl being white, because another girl was kicked out an they gotten her a ride home, there are plenty of people in relationships at the place, bottom line please don’t send your family to a place like that,

I am a patient in the IOP program. Can't speak highly enough about Ryann and the rest of the staff. She has been a blessing to me.
