Boston Ability Center

We are so glad to have found BAC! My son has autism and he's getting services at school like speech and OT, but we felt like he needed additional one-on-one help to work on coordination and body awareness. So he's been doing physical therapy with Brian who's been great to work with. They have a wonderful facility which includes a gym with fun equipment, and the walls are painted so that it looks like a little town, and each "store" has doors to individual therapy rooms. I also appreciate the large waiting area with a shelf of books for kids because I usually have to bring my younger son along with us, so we're able to hang out there while we're waiting.

The BAC has been wonderful for our children and our family overall. If you and your children are in need of some more support, I strongly recommend looking into working with a therapist at the BAC.

My daughter was having behavior issues with transitions and executive functioning. She lost her dad at a very young age and got a baby brother all within a few months. It was hard to tell if her behavior was from the trauma or being a product of Covid isolation. Either way I started her with OT at BAC (a solution I never would have thought about) and she has been making amazing strides. Her behavior has changed and she is flourishing as Stephanie says. We have been to both locations and really love both. There is so much for kids with a variety of assistance needed. Nora’s case seems mild compared to what some families may be going through. I cannot say enough great things about the facilities, staff, communication, experience and overall progress my daughter has made. I would highly recommend!!

Boston Ability Center has been such a gift in our lives. My daughter does speech, OT, and PT every week. The staff and teachers are so kind and patient, and they come up with such fun activities for her. She loves going there and asks to go to the “gym” all the time. I highly recommend BAC, we feel so lucky to have these types of services and these dedicated people close to us.

We could not be more impressed with BAC! Carrie is kind, creative, attentive and really connects with my son. She has helped him with so many daily skills that benefit his home life and at school. Teachers provided feedback at our IEP meeting that they have noticed a significant change with my son’s executive functioning this year.

Boston Ability Center is absolutely amazing, both the clinicians and the facility. From the minute my daughter walks through the door, she is so happy! Jan, my daughter’s PT, always has such a fun plan for the session that my daughter doesn’t even realize how hard she is working! Her progress since starting at BAC has been amazing! Highly recommend!!

I have worked with The Boston Ability Center in the capacity of a client and partner. My son received Speech Language Services and his communication abilities were absolutely transformed. He went from being frustrated when others couldn't understand him, to a confident, and talkative four year old. I can't say enough about this practice. Beyond Speech, I have witnessed the Occupational Therapists make an immediate and lasting impact on the children they work with. I work at a school where BAC services many of our students and can see the confidence, joy and skills they instill in our students. I can't say enough about how pleased I am, and other families are with this team. Everyone is kind, patient, professional and effective. They are truly the BEST!

Amazing therapy center focused on the needs of the whole family and making therapy fun, engaging, and impactful for the child. The therapists are among the very best in the area (and we've been to many over the years). I couldn't recommend BAC more!
