The treatment is fine. It addresses well to the patient's needs. But there is a problem with the way the higher echelon staff relates with the patients.. My own experience proved to be very frustrating. Suddenly, a month into the treatment, without any warning, I was told that, if I wanted to continue with the treatment, I could no longer rely on my insurance, and that I would have to pay for it myself. I was accused of being uncooperative and of not making any progress, both false statements, as my personal trainer had volunteered that I had made substantial progress in responding to more demanding exercises. Regarding a lack of cooperation, on a couple of occasions my trainer had asked if I felt like doing the stationary bike at the end of the session. Tired, I responded that I did not feel like doing it. Had I been told that it was a necessary part of my treatment, I would have done even if tired. The head physical therapist , who conducted the interview, was offensive and provocative, totally unwilling to hear my side of the story. I was left with the impression that she disliked me for no reason that I could phantom, and that she wanted me to spend my own money for the treatment. I would caution potential patients to be formal and impersonal, and to avoid sharing personal feelings with the staff.
