I damaged my meniscus in January 2018. Fought it for many months before caving in to see a physician. Dr Flak listened to me, asked pertinent questions and listened to my answers. He allowed me to try physical therapy to avoid surgery but it was unsuccessful and he operated on my knee 6 weeks ago. I can honestly say that if something happens to my knees again I will definitely go back to see Dr Flak. He did an excellent job on my knee and now, 6 weeks out, I am walking better and with much less pain than I did prior to the damage I did back in January. He cut out the damaged meniscus and smoothed out some arthritis damage. He is an excellent Dr and easy to talk to.

Dr Flack gave me back something I needed and that was a working arm. I came to Dr. Flack with very limited use of my right arm and he quickly diagnosed me with a torn Rotator cuff and torn bicep. I couldn't lift my arm above my shoulder and couldn't lift even a laptop. Dr Flack was informative from the start and made sure I knew the risks and what we could expect. The surgery was a success and after 13 weeks of physical therapy and following his guidelines he was able to announce the repairs a success. I would recommend him in an instant.

Dr. Flak did a biceps tenodesis on my left shoulder and I am extremely pleased. I am only 8 weeks out and am almost completely back to my regular Streng. I still have healing to do but I am so glad I had it done. Dr. Flak is a great physician with a great bedside manner and is always upbeat. I would definitely recommend him again and again

I highly recommend Dr. Flak and his staff. They diagnosed the problem with my shoulder and formulated a plan for repair and recovery. They are very personable and attentive to your concerns. I am approximately 3 months post op and my shoulder feels good. I feel Dr. Flak did a tremendous job. I highly recommend he and his staff if you suffer from joint pain or sustain an injury as I did.

I highly recommend Dr. Flak and his nurses. I went to a different specialist before him about my knee to which he told me that he doesn’t see anything wrong with it and he doesn’t understand why I’m having problems and as soon as I seen Dr. Flak he knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it, with what works best with me. He’s so kind and fun to be around and made surgery better then what it is. Thank you so much Dr. Flak. Hopefully nothing ever happens again but, if it was to happen I will definitely come back to you!

Dr. Flak did the surgery when my 87 year old Mom broke her hip. He did an excellent job, his bedside manner was great. He did an excellent job explaining everything that the surgery entailed to her and the family. I recommend Dr. Flak for any orthopedic problem or procedure.

I damaged my meniscus in January of 2018 and struggled for most of the year trying to get it to heal on it's own to no avail. After consulting Dr. Flak he evaluated my and determined, due to the many things attempted to avoid surgery not working, it was time for surgical intervention. He operated, removing the damaged portions. I was in significant pain prior to surgery. I am blessed to be one of the few that post-surgery walked out without using crutches and significantly less pain. I would not hesitate to consult him for any further orthopedic issues. He explains the problems, options, and surgical procedures in a clear easy to understand manner. I would not hesitate to recommend him for anyone having knee problems.
