Very welcoming atmosphere with very knowledgeable therapists. I had Todd for my physical therapist and not only did my pain go away after one treatment. Todd was very calming and considerate. He was very honest in that he suggested just a couple more visits and didn’t prolong unnecessary physical therapy. I really appreciate the honesty. I recommended him to my husband and will continue to recommend to others

I've been to BodyWorks after two knee surgeries and a shoulder issue. Brenda, Jeff and Todd are all caring professionals concerned about achieving the best outcome of their patients. They are well organized and always insure you understand the desired outcomes and the path to achieve those outcomes. Highly recommended.

Jeff is the most knowledgeable, professional, helpful and caring physical therapist I have ever known! I have yet to meet a physician who knows as much about the treatment and rehabilitation of physical injuries and post-operative care and recovery. His facility is state-of-the-art, and his entire staff is well-trained, informed and extremely friendly as well. I recommend Jeff to everyone, and I have referred many of my patients to him for physical therapy and rehabilitation, all of whom have been highly satisfied with his care and very happy with the results he has helped them achieve.

I highly recommend Body Works Physical Therapy. Jeff, Brenda and the entire staff always made me feel welcome, and treated me like a friend. Jeff and Brenda were really focused on my recovery and making sure that I was meeting my goals along the way. I felt that my time there was well spent. I am continuing to use many of the exercises and techniques even, after my treatment has ended.

The owner and the employees are genuinely concerned about their patients. The level of knowledge is definitely a five-star I've been to them several times and they have absolutely taken care of my needs. The owner Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable about the human body and what doctors need them to attend to.

I cannot recommend this location enough. The physical therapist assigned to me was Todd W. and he was absolutely outstanding. I am 33 years old and extremely active. I normally spend a few hours a day 5 days a week training across many different sports. My main love is Jiu-Jitsu though. During a training session I fully tore my ACL (full evulsion) as well as damaged my meniscus. (A bucket handle tear, arguably the worst). Needless to say it felt like my life was over. My surgeon was Dr. Suzuki at Ventura Ortho (A phenomenal surgeon) and my physical therapist was Todd Whitmore at Body Works in Ventura, CA. Todd is a fantastic physical therapist. He is easy to talk to, relatable, and very well educated. He is also very up to date on cutting edge PT methods. Jeff, the owner, was also extremely helpful and at times I would find two doctors working on my knee at the same time. (If you are any type of serious athlete you know how comforting it is to have doctors very invested in getting you back "into the saddle") Also and this is a huge thing with PTs today.... Todd did NOT just give me some workouts to do and send me home. Every PT session he was hands on, manipulating my knee, stretching and massaging my leg, and worked out tight spots. Every session was 30 minutes of him running my knee through tests and manipulations to check my progress and help me along. Next was hands on instruction as well as oversight as I did the exercises. Let me state, I know at least four other people going through this same injury/recovery. And they are having one hell of a time. Setbacks, a lot of pain or stiffness, issues with ROM (range of motion). I had NONE of those and i attribute it to the diligent, phenomenal and cutting edge care I received from Todd and the ENITRE Body Works staff. My uncle has been a physical therapist for 41 years. He was extremely happy and impressed with the care and advice i received from Todd & Body Works. (IE- Making sure i could get my leg completely straight after my injury but BEFORE my surgery. I had multiple sessions at Body Works to get my leg and knee as strong as possible BEFORE surgery which decreases heal time and decreases any chance of complications) Today marks my 7 month point since my surgery. I am cleared to return to jiu-jitsu a full month early due to my quick recovery. I will wait a full 12 months before returning to actual competition. At my 4-5 month mark I began riding my gravel bike again. I have had multiple workouts/rides with people who had no idea I had massive knee surgery within the last half year and they were absolutely floored to find out after we were done. To any of my serious athletes reading this who are injured.... calm down, this too shall pass. This is not the end of the world. It goes by a lot faster then you think. Also your now set up for an epic comeback story. Get into bodyworks ASAP and ask for Todd. Pre or post surgery. Trust me. My athleticism is my life and this place helped save it. -Otto Weiler

The PT aides don’t seem like they are happy to be there, and are void of any energy. People are doing exercises without being monitored properly, which could lead to injuries. The PT aides monitor three to four patients at a time, which doesn’t allow for complete undivided patient care. They are going back and forth between patients, which makes it easier to miss something. They should only handle a few patients at a time even if it comprises patient satisfaction, as preventing injuries is more important. The PT aides don’t even how the exercise are helping or how to spell various anatomical terms, what a disappointment. Patient files are in clear view, you can literally see confidential information, poses a HIPAA violation. The PT aides don’t really seem friendly and don’t converse with patients, they just seem tired and bored. The pay is abysmal as well, especially in this economy with inflation.

Todd is a knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and experienced Physical Therapist that I would recommend to anyone who is serious about health and healing. I'm very satisfied with his work with me.
