Bodycentral Physical Therapy - Tucson and Hand Therapy Tucson

This place is a nightmare, my husband went for a pinched nerve that has made him lose mobility in his ring finger and pinky and he can't lift his wrist. He went in and they made him a splint, it is plastic and very sharp, she was cutting this hard plastic between his fingers while he wore it, which he said he thought she was going to cut him the whole time. The fingers aren't even straight. All of the edges to each finger and the every edge on this thing is very sharp. She gave him a sleeve thinner than a t-shirt to put under it because he told her it was sharp and hurting him, by the time he got him 20 min away he had a dent in the side of his wrist from it. There is no way he can even wear it. He could hurt himself more or hurt one of the kids bc it's so sharp and dangerous. It really upset me when I saw when he got home. I work in the medical field and this splint is a joke, it's not easy to get referrals and change places that are covered by your insurance either. There was no care whatsoever put into my husband, who is the hardest working sweetest man who does nothing but help people and this is how he gets treated?

My wife and I have seen several therapists at several Body Central locations. They seem to have declined over the years. I think they were bought out by a large national group? Our first experience was excellent, but has progressively worsened. Recently I was misdiagnosed and my condition was not improving. They also randomly overcharged me, and probably never would have issued a refund if I hadn’t asked. A different local physical therapy group, which specializes in my area of need, performed a very different assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, which has been effective. They also charged my correct copay. Businesses become too big and profit oriented, and lose their focus. When this happens in a medical practice the consequences are tragic.

I am very satisfied with the team caring for me. My PT is Alysha. She is very good at listening to my needs and fine tuning my program to optimize my care. I have very specific questions and Alysha does a great job of giving me comprehensive answers. I never feel rushed or talked down to. The techs, Aubry and Brittany are great with timing and making the whole process run smooth and efficiently. They keep the environment light and fun with friendly conversation and uplifting attitudes.

I was fortunate to receive excellent OT treatments from Judith. I had 2 hand/finger surgeries on my dominant hand. Judi was kind, sensitive, and very professional in her “hands on” care, and the variety of hand/finger exercises to achieve improved range of motion; increased strength; and flexibility, She’s the best!

Robin my physical therapist is amazing she makes me feel like my concerns are valid and is over all a fun person to work with. She is both professional while still making me feel like I’m hanging out with an old friend as well as making sure I understand I understand everything she is doing. And teaches me everything she is doing and how it will help me.

I highly recommend Bodycentral Physical Therapy Swan! Tori, Jade and Minnija have all worked hard to help me recover. They listen, are compassionate, and encouraging. Everyone there has been very kind and helpful. Give them a try!

This place conducts horrible business practices do not go here. I went to bodycentral physical therapy for a few months and was under the assumption the were utilizing the insurance I provided them because they said it went through. Every week when I went to pay it said the payment was $50 which was the same amount as my copay so I didn’t think anything of it. On my last visit, their screen said “agree and pay $50”, then I soon got a notification from my bank saying my balance was in the negative because they have charged me over $400! I called their billing department many times and they refused to give me the money back that they stole. I reminded them that this is their mistake and I agreed only to pay $50 as listed on the screen. They are horrible human beings who conduct fraud and shady business practices. They do not care about helping disabled people. Do not give these people your business. Body central, please close your horrible business. You make the world a worse place.

So thankful for Judi… she has adjusted my brace so that it is comfortable for me, made sure that nothing was sharp or poking me. Always tries different stretches to get me back to 100%. Recommend her for sure !
