Attending physical therapy at Body Gears in Oak Brook was the best postpartum decision I made for myself. My doctor recommended physical therapy for pelvic floor weakness and lower back pain. And from the first time I spoke to Jackie on the phone to all of my sessions with Elaine or Sean, everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to my care. Sean recommended dry needling, and I felt a tremendous difference in my lower back after the procedure. I now feel healthier and stronger and no longer have lower back pain. I was referred to Body Gears for a shoulder injury and was delighted to also resolve a lifetime of chronic back pain during treatment. The staff is exceptional. Jackie was wonderfully kind and incredibly helpful with scheduling and insurance. Sean delivered care with patience and efficiency. He knew when to push and when to back off. He took the time to answer my many questions and concerns making my care feel collaborative and personalized. I felt trusted to know myself and my limits but also appropriately challenged. Sean is incredibly knowledgeable and generous with his wisdom. He is the 5th PT I've worked with and the first one to treat me as a whole person. My quality of life has vastly improved since working with him. I looked forward to my time at Body Gears and highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.

I was in a bad place with my pelvic floor hurting me like no other ! Pelvic floor problems affect every part of your body from your back to waist down. Very uncomfortable and painful. My urologist said my pain was pelvic Floor disorder, and I was like Really I could not believe it. To my surprise I visited Body Gears in the Oakbrook office. The Care I received was beyond my expectations, Linsey Jana the Physical Therapist is so very knowledgeable and has the ability to clearly communicate where I was at with my health issue. The Team at Body Gears Jaclyn , Cody, Cassidy and Sean the Spine and Back PT specialist are unbelievable Good and effective in helping me get in to shape. With Great detail making my visits Very pleasant because of their team’s positive and very well managed regiment. I did therapy in there office from May to December and I have to say I was given my life back. They really have a super tuned in ability to slowly but with great care get your body to respond with the therapy. Every time visited , I was asked what can we work on today. One by one the ailments this Pelvic floor disorder brought on all went away. I can’t say enough for the Great Therapy I received I have an exercise program provide to me to work on from home now. I was sent to Body Gears get a Physically therapy after my surgery by my Doctor. I was greet by Jacklyn with very warm welcoming, then meet with Lyndsay to get an evaluation what we need to do, then I start my therapy with Sean. They are extremely knowledgeable with their job and very friendly, there was a intern name Eliza who was also great. I was extremely happy with my therapy and do Recommended to everyone.
