I liked this clinic far better than the clinic in Bessemer. By the way, I was on methadone as a client, not suboxone. I did find that the building is multiple stories and not laid out in a great manner dissatisfying. Also, in the past, the wait times could get to be pretty long, sometimes. Overall, my experience with this clinic was quite good.

Our clinic offers light in all your darkness. I say "our" bc most of us feel like part of something bigger. The staff and councilors are TRULY there for us in any situation u may find yourself in. IF U R READY TO HAVE YOUR LIFE BACK, Look no further bc here u will b given options of what u want your recovery to look and feel like. BMTC gave me the tools I needed to work with so I no longer needed or wanted to b part of the chase.

I've been going here 15 yrs and they don't givva damn about the pts, and allllll the staff stick together!!!! And Shauna the program director covers up drug test but only when it's convenient for her!!!! So does the rest of the staff, including Kevin, I guess he learned his program director!!! Only 2 staff I've ever seen giva a damn is BRENT FROM CORPORATE. And Matthew, but he quit bc metro was crooked as a barrel full of snakes. STILL IS.... Update, 4-7-24 THEY SPEND MORE TIME TRYING TO NOT DOSE YOU THAN JUST DOING THEIR JOB, AND BC WE'RE ADDICTS, NOBODY CARES! I NOTICE THE OWNER OF THIS ACCT, REPLIES, TO THE POSITIVE COMMENTS!!!! DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HOW TO FIX IT!

I have been a patient for about 7 years and I have had zero problems because I do my part, stay clean and don't cause any problem. Unfortunately many patients always have problems and issues. If they would learn to come to the clinic, get in line and be quiet. Dose and go home. Simple things learned as a young child but some patients just are problems.

Everything's been great except for getting my weekly take homes I've been on phase 3 going on a year now, I got a I've had my observed drug screen my mother is on hospice and a stepfather that is terminal also I've had my observed drug screen months ago what's the problem. My car is tore up and I have to bum a ride to the clinic every day I have to dose in I don't want to be a trouble marker but weekly take homes would help me a lot!!!! I've done my part!!!

I love the staff here. They are very helpful and want you to do good and will do whatever is necessary to help you stay clean and get your life back. My counselor Johnnay is the best!

Doesn't offer real counseling, lines are ridiculously long most weekends, there is always an issue getting take homes even if you've been clean, and out of the many clinics I've been to, this is the only one where 100mg doesn't hold me for 24 straight hours. Something weird about that. Edit: They did hire more nurses and now there are never any lines. The methadone seems to be a little better. I know other places I have dosed at, anything above 80 or 90mg would make me oversedated and I usually had to go down. But at 140mg, I wake up sick. So I don't know if it's because they use methadone instead of Methadose. But the Methadose holds longer, and in the end they'd save money because people's doses wouldn't have to be as high. Extra Edit: Transferred to Bessemer and within 2 months I had my weekly take homes I had been owed for over a year, but it was always an issue getting anything done at this place. Bessemer is so much better. You get treated like a person and not a number.
