I had spinal surgery at the BioSpine Institute. Dr. Bono was the surgeon who literally changed my life for the better. He removed the arthritis that was causing me to be in pain with Sciatica and making it hard to walk or even sit comfortably. The nurses were compassionate, kind and respectful. These people understood my pain and took care of it. I am still in awe of how well I was treated. Later, I went to see them because my hip was hurting. No Sciatica, just soreness. My questions were answered and a prescription for an anti inflammatory was called in. I really appreciate the concern and care I received.

I had a consultation at BioSpine with Todd Williams because I wanted a minimally invasive procedure for back pain. They took an X-ray of my back and hip and said my hip was worse than the back. Todd Williams examined both hips by spreading them. When he spread the left one I think I heard a crack and yelled out in pain. He said that just proves that I need hip surgery first and gave me a referral to see an orthopedic surgeon. He said that my insurance company would probably mandate that I go to physical therapy first approving surgery. I went to an orthopedic surgeon whom I had previously seen who said I don’t need surgery yet. I contacted BioSpine at least six times over several months asking for an appointment for the procedure. I was told I needed the orthopedic surgeon records and they were sent to them. I called several times and did not receive a response. I emailed through their website and they contacted the office and gave me the name of the person who was supposed to get back to me. I also complained about a disk of the X-ray that I paid $10 for that didn’t work. The orthopedic surgeon’s office told me that I was the second patient that day who had an X-ray from BioSpine that didn’t work. I did speak to someone twice but an appointment was never made. One person that I spoke to told me that I didn’t show up to an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon. I told her that was not true - I never made an appointment with their orthopedic surgeon. I now believe they wanted me to see an orthopedic surgeon in their office. It’s now obvious to me that they didn’t want my business but wanted my $10.

Don't ever go here. I saw Dr Ronzo for two visits. He took my insurance Blue Cross blue shield. For the two visits. I need surgery ony back. He told me my insurance company does not pay him enough to do the surgery. So he told me I had to see another doctor for that at Tampa general hospital. Dr Ronzo give me a order for a MRI and sent me on my way. I am in extreme pain. Dr Ronzo did not put stat on myri orders. By doing this my insurance company has 72 hrs to get approval. My insurance company called him to try and get him to expedite the orders. Dr Ronzo would not do it. UNREAL unrealUNREAL

The complex at Brooksville is wonderful. The staff Is friendly and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Davis. My less than perfect review is because of my experience at the surgery center on the day of my surgery. First, a person in the waiting room had a dog with them. Not a service dog, just a dog and this person allowed the dog to sit on the couch. When I mentioned this to the receptionist she just shrugged her shoulders and said "yea, that dog shouldn't be in here". I was disappointed that I did not see Dr. Davis before the surgery, just for comfort would have been nice. Instead, it felt like I was on a conveyor belt, I did not feel there was any personal interaction. I was upset my husband could not wait with me, but I guess that is just rules. Of course, surgeries got backed up and my surgery was delayed 2 hours. Thank goodness for the anesthesiologist or I would never had known why I was waiting so long. The nursing staff was invisible once they gave me the IV. In all the time I waiting there, they did not check up on me, or bother to explain the delay to either me or my husband who was in the waiting room wondering what was taking so long. My surgery went fine, pretty quick recovery, and I would recommend this institute, but they really need to speak with those people in the surgery center.

Dr. Ronzo and his team at BioSpine are the best! I just had my second procedure done by him and the results are amazing. I have more movement of my neck than I have had in over 8 years and I'm pain-free. I have referred numerous clients to BioSpine and they are also very pleased with the results. Thank you for doing what you do!

Dr. Bono promised to fix the pain in my husband’s back and buttocks. He also stated that it would not affect my husband’s flexibility. After surgery 2/9/22, the recovery was difficult and debilitating. Today his pain has increased rather than abated. Further more, he can no longer put on his own socks due to loss of flexibility. To add insult to injury, we are still receiving bills that indicate our secondary insurance has not paid their share of the bill. Last summer I contacted Blue Cross. They in turn contacted BioSpine. The bill had been paid, but improperly posted. Yet today we received another bill. Apparently their billing department is as efficient as their surgery!

After 2 Epidural Steroid injections failed to relieve severe pain in my leg, I took the advice of an acquaintance who suggested I look into BioSpine. I met with Dr. Ronzo, and sensed immediately that he was the one I could trust to correct my problem. Leading up to and following the surgery, I’m sure I spoke with or saw at least 20 people employed at BioSpine. I have joked that everyone who applies for a job there must be required to take a course on how to be kind, patient and helpful. One of the best things was having my own personal concierge. She scheduled all my appointments and often had to reschedule them. She guided me every step of the way, and not once did she seem like I was bothering her. The surgical facility, as well as the 2 offices I visited, were top notch, immaculately clean, state of the art. Dr. Ronzo was so personable and took his time explaining my procedure. I wasn’t the slightest bit worried. I was in and out in 3 hours. After 36 hours, I went off the narcotics and only took an occasional Tylenol for pain. I wore a back brace for 2 weeks, but was never confined to bed, nor did I need a walker. The home health nurses and Physical Therapist couldn’t get over how mobile I was. Three weeks out, I’m basically pain free. Without hesitation, I recommend BioSpine.

This place is amazing! I had an L5 S1 laminectomy done and I experienced zero pain after surgery. I had not been able to walk for three weeks prior to the surgery due to the tremendous pain in my right leg. Immediately after surgery it was gone. Dr. Ronzo is wonderful and I would highly recommend to everyone!
