I had a full knee replacement surgery in March of 2024. My spouse Leslie, had experience with Big Stone, and based on that I engaged their services for my recovery. Dave and Mel were great to work with, and we set goals to strive for. They regularly measured my progress, and explained everything very thoroughly. They are very knowledgeable and experienced, working with people in recovery. Some discomfort is normal after surgery, but with their help, I understood what was important, and how to achieve that. I have to give accolades to all the office staff at Big Stone Baxter. They were always friendly and quick to engage. I had many scheduling complications, that were easily addressed by office staff. They even recognized me after a while, and always offered a friendly greeting upon my arrival. Thank you Big Stone Baxter, and especially Dave and Mel, for helping me achieve a full recovery and return to all my normal activities!

I have the highest rating for a superb experience. I was injured had had shooting sciatica pains in my back and thigh. I was unable to do many activities and hobbled rather than walked. Now I'm able to split wood, golf, and hike the Superior Hiking trail again. A neurosurgery consultation stated that the PT was helping and there is no consideration of any surgery. I truly appreciate the competent, caring, and compassionate care I received at Big Stone.

Worked with David and Mel a few times with Ronnie. The staff is amazing. The directions provided were spot on that helped to ensure I was on the proper path to recovery. Facility was always clean. Wait time 5 minutes. In the time of uncertainty the care and reassurance was outstanding.

I had Randy Capelle as a PT and I had a shoulder injury, I am now able to do what I used to be able to do before my injury and learn ways to maintain that strength at home and strengthen it to be even stronger than before. He was very friendly and helpful and everyone there has always been happy to see me and very nice! I’ve had lots of family go through them as well and never had any problems! Thank you!

Last fall I crashed on my mountain bike resulting in a rotator cuff tear that needed surgical repair. After surgery Dave and Mel designed a program to help me get back to living life and being active again. My shoulder was stubborn, but with their help and encouragement I am returning to activities I enjoyed before my fall - kayaking, biking, and disc golf. I am so thankful for both of them - they know what they are doing and they are great people. All of my interactions with staff at this location have been positive.

The staff at Big Stone are very knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. Dave and Mel have helped me tremendously with my recovery to be able to get back to my regular activities. My experience with the staff at BigStone has been wonderful! The office staff is kind and helpful as well as knowledgeable regarding insurance etc! The therapists that worked with my lower back were very kind, patient, and realistic! My excercises were photoed for me so that I could practice at home! The same 2 therapists were consistent and worked together to help me Make progress!! Big Stone will always be my families choice for Therapy! Thank you, Dave, Mel, and crew!!

Big stone therapy in Baxter was my choice for therapy after both of my knee replacements. Mel and Dave were a huge part of my recovery. They are very knowledgeable and make the process as easy and fun as it can be. They gave me lots of ideas to work on at home. If I had trouble they were extremely encouraging and kind.
