Beyond Speech Therapy

I wrote a not so good review a while back becausei I wasn't able to get my daughter to her initial appointment and therefore they told me they wouldn't be able to schedule her with another appointment at that time and I was upset because it wasn't her fault and I really wanted to get her into speech with Beyonce Speech because I knew they were among the best and would be able to help her so much with her speech and I was devastated that she wouldn't be going to them...She did get therapy elsewhere and when we were able to move to Longview a few months ago I called them again and they made her an appointment and they got her in pretty quick and have been so wonderful to us and have worked with our schedule to get her in when it's best for us and I can tell a huge difference in her speech already and I'm so excited for her and I would recommend Beyonce Speech in Longview for exceptional customer service and the therapist for their great work with the kids!! All of the kids not just mine! They know what they are doing and they are understanding and have went above and beyond to work around our schedule to make her appointments work for us and I'm so glad that they were able to get her in this time and my daughter loves going to her appointmentsalways has fun while she's improving her speech because they are always doing different and fun activities with her that are really working for her!! Also they give me advice and things we can do at home because they want her to do so well and I can tell they really care !! ❤️

We were with a previous place for 9 months and I saw no improvement with my son, AS SOON as I got him started here everything turned around. He has shown so much progress since working with Miss Becky, Miss Becah and Miss Mandi and Miss Brenda. They love my son like family, they care an enormous amount about the families they work with and will bend over backwards to help with time slots or different variations of therapy. They also have an amazing sensory room!!! Look!

My son has been going here for speech and occupational therapy for about 5 years. He looks forward to going even though they challenge him! The therapists are passionate about their jobs and do a great job with learning how to keep your child motivated. I especially like how they can tweak their “plans” for a session if he is having a bad day, that way the session isn’t a “waste”. They let you know what they worked on with each visit that way you can continue working with them at home. And they will incorporate things at your suggestion so you really are a part of the process. Thank you Brenda, Becca, Crystal, Becky, Melissa, Jennifer, and all the other amazing staff for treating my son like family and making him feel so special!

I cannot say enough about Beyond Speech Therapy! It’s all in the name because Brenda and her team goes above and beyond for our son. Brenda has been so amazing and helpful. Becca, speech therapist, has been so incredibly wonderful with our son. He loves her! We have watched him grow in the sessions he’s been there. We cannot wait to see him continue to teach his potential. They honestly invested in your child and want them to succeed. I was with another company before and nearly gave up looking for a company to help me. Brenda reached out and helped ease my mind and they have explained everything to me along the way. So helpful. So invested. I love this place for my son!

My 1 1/2 yr old son has Chairi Malformation and was having major swallowing issues especially with thin liquids like water and juices. They helped determine he has no gag reflex (which is common for kids with Chairi). His sweet speech therapist even met us at the hospital to hold my son during his swallow study because I was pregnant and high risk so I couldn’t be in the room. The entire staff was so sweet and welcoming that my son loved going there and missed it when he graduated his therapy services. I highly recommend them for all your speech and occupational needs. They helped my son figure out tricks to safely drink from appropriate cups with head positions to help him stay safe. Love them all.

We are so thankful for Beyond Speech Therapy. In July of 2021, we were looking for speech services for our 2 adult sons that are affected by autism. We called at least 7 other places in Marshall, Longview, Tyler, and home health agencies but couldn’t find anyone that would work with them since they were 22 & 26 yrs old. Brenda and her staff were gracious and accepted them with open arms. Derek has increased in his ability to spontaneously use his communication device. John has always resisted all other forms of communication because he could speak when young but lost it at 8 yrs old. After working with Becca, John started enjoying working on his communication device and now can navigate between pages and request things he wants. (We also have a daily home program where their attendants reinforce what they learn at speech.) John has started talking a little. Yesterday when they were praying over lunch, he tried to say thank you and he said Jesus plain as day!!! Thank y’all for all you do for our children. May the Lord bless you abundantly🙂

We absolutely love these ladies! My daughter has come so far since going. She ask to go see them. They are beyond patient with the kids and genuinely care about them. They know them all on a personal level and make you feel so welcome. You couldn’t ask for a better place!

We have been coming here for almost a year and a half for our boy with autism and Speech apraxia. He has made so much progress since then, he started out completely none verbal and he can talk in 4-6 word sentences now and is having whole conversations about the things he likes! We are learning about our boy more in-depth every day. ❤ Thank you Brenda, Becca, and Becky at Gilmer Beyond Speech for helping our boy find his voice.❤ He's only going up from here!
