Better Health Alaska Chiropractors

This place has worked wonders on my neck pain. I had so much pain after my work jury and surgery, and this place helped me so much. I referred my family here, and they also love the experience they get here. They have xrays in house so no need to have different appointments to diagnose you. Bonus is I get a massage every week, and it's part of my therapy. I would definitely recommend this place if you have any chiropractor needs.

Excellent and Effective treatment, staff is knowledgable and friendly. In my case i was looking at having cervical surgerywith disc replacment. I opted for chiropratic treatment. Im glad i did. Id highly recomend better health to all who seek pain relief.

Look at courtview before you go, terrible/predatory practices. Lost confidence, asked to pay my bill in full, paid at the counter. They closed their disorganized Juneau office. Per their office notes, turns out they waited over a year to process some of the insurance, which left it ineligible. They never contacted me once by mail, email or text. Just sent it off to a collection law firm. I explained I had cancelled service, asked to pay in full and did so at their counter. Law firmed demanded payment, I asked for documentation, attorney said she would provide it. Next communication was a court summons. Find another provider and avoid having to fight them.

I have been going to Better Health for just 2 wks, but already I am able to stand up straight due to the program Dr. Wells has me on (ABPP). I have been in pain since January and after the 2nd week of treatment, I slept for the first time without any pain at all. It was amazing! The staff are extremely thoughtful of your limitations, friendly, kind and work with your schedule. I was treated here many years ago for a different issue and I am back because of the trust I have in Dr. Wells and his program.

Better Health is one of a kind: they’re the only establishment I’ve ever heard of whose first response to a petty bill issue is to take you to small claims court. Too bad Google is too kind for zero stars. Nevermind the bill in question; I’m happy paying for decent healthcare services rendered (okay, maybe not happy, but at least things feel square – my wife and I have stellar credit because of our payment history with such things). However, when the unpaid bill remains unknown to you, and Better Health doesn’t inform you that insurance denied your wife's claim but instead turns to a debt-collection law firm to settle the issue, things become a little annoying. It brings to mind a loan shark brandishing a lead pipe because someone didn’t pay him back for a candy bar. So if you’re looking for a chiropractor to send creepy legal process servers to your doorstep at 11 pm, attempt to contact you only through scammy-looking emails (even though they have your phone number and mailing address on file), and attempt to force you to pay half a year’s worth of legal fees all for a debt you were never made aware of, these are your people. God Bless you if you’re that person. Sarcasm aside: look elsewhere for a chiropractor.
