I cannot say enough about Bethel Pointe and their entire staff! My mother was very resistent to going to rehab but did agree kicking and screaming. Every staff member from admissions, therapy, nursing and social service did such a wonderful job welcoming her and going above and beyond to make everything feel like home. They wooed her so much she hated to leave! She is planning to continue with Bethel Pointe for her outpt. rehab, so that makes her happy! Thanks again to the entire Bethel Pointe Family! I appreciate you treating her so well! :)

Most of our experience at Bethel Pointe was good, sometimes wonderful, but also a few key times disappointing. First, the disappointments. At times, my wife who was undergoing rehabilitation at Bethel had to wait longer than she should have to get help or to get the medicines she needed. Understandable, given the number of patients/residents to be cared for, but still annoying when someone needs to go to the toilet or needs to have some pain medication. Another issue that raised an ugly head several times was the quality of the food. My wife and I are vegetarians, and she suffers from celiac disease (i.e., must be gluten-free). She was sometimes served a slice of ham, a couple of time hamburgers, chicken once or twice, and once even a hot dog on a non-gluten-free bun of course. Now that my wife is at home, I'm a little bothered that she was discharged when she was. We wanted her to come home, of course, but just before her discharge, because she has osteoporosis and was coughing raggedly and repeatedly, she suffered a hairline crack in a vertebra that is now giving her so much pain that she has seriously regressed from how she was doing just before being discharged. Now, we admit that we pressed to have her discharged; still, the medical people at Bethel Pointe should have discouraged us because of that painful hairline compression fracture in her vertebra. She would not now have fallen so far behind where she should be if Bethel had kept her on for a few more days or a week or so, to see how that fracture affected her. Water under the bridge. On the positive side, nearly all the people at Bethel Pointe--the nurses, the CNAs, the various therapists, the people in Social Services, the people up front in the offices, the kind people who cleaned the hallways and the rooms--were wonderfully sweet and compassionate and helpful, loving even. My wife and I came to cherish a couple of dozen people who did all sorts of work: Brooklyn who did the cleaning, Jennifer and others in the front offices, Gabby and Chris and Nadja and Habiba and Kingsley and Bell and many other nurses or CNAs, Heather in Social Services, Dama the speech therapist, Anna the occupational therapist, Zachary and Lisa, both physical therapists. There are more, of course. My point is that my wife's caregivers were generally wonderful and kind and compassionate people whom we treasured. Despite some fairly serious issues, then, we would have no issue with recommending that a friend or relative should take advantage of what Bethel Pointe has to offer. It was a good choice overall.

I give Bethel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation nursing home in Muncie,Ind a 0 star, My dad was there for Rehab, he was constantly sick and could not eat, myself and family kept going to the nurses station asking for the doctor or one of the nurse practitioners to see my dad then I was asking for someone to call me , they would say Shannon NP was going to call me, she never did, i would even wait for a doctor or NP to come see my dad, no one cared , no one did, I would walk into my dads room with him laying in his own urin, and once his door was shut and he was sitting on a wheelchair with no cushion with bed sores yelling, the CNA came in after me my dad was yelling, she yelled at him and told him to never talk to her like that, I yelled at her and said he cannot walk , he has bed sores there is urin all over the floor and side table and his bed and blankets and I told her to never yell at or talk to my dad like that again, I have plenty to say about this nursing home , the administration Silina Holloway will not return my calls . A employee broke my dads dentures and I wanted his dentures for the funeral home, Silina said she would call me back , she didn’t, my brother had to go to the denture clinic to get my dads dentures, they was so kind that they glued his teeth together for free. I am up all night every night crying, sense 1-4-2024 because I feel that my dad could of been saved if i would of done something earlier, screamed or yelled in the halls for help ! While most of the employees was hanging out , not even answering the call button, i would have to walk down to the nurses station. 💔 How many patients are being neglected that have no family? So please if you are reading this , McKenzie will make everything sound wonderful, the place will look clean , she will tell your loved one how they are just a sweetheart, then you will get there and they will come in the room and have a special angel for you but I only seen her once, then they will seem to care and then you will not see them again when you are asking for help. I am sure that not all of the employees are bad , but the ones we had was horrible, except Kingsley CNA he was so caring and did awesome with my dad. 🙏 Thank you Kingsley ♥️ my family, especially my mom we all are a mess. But we do not want anyone else to go through something like this 💔 In loving Memory for my dad , he should not have suffered like he did 🙏 hopefully this post will save someone else 🙏

My sister in-law who is 88 is there mainly for rehab after a hospital stay.. My first impression was clean and did not smell like most. Staff was very helpful. She had no complaints.

Bethel Pointe is an amazing facility, providing short-term rehab and long term care services. The new remodel and private rehab suites make for a comfortable place to recover after an injury or illness. I have seen multiple staff/team members who will go above and beyond to help create positive outcomes for the patients. Collaborative team work, cleanliness of the facility, and feeling of family makes Bethel Pointe the place to go!

Beautiful place and great therapy, since the remodel it looks amazing inside and they gave the best care to my grandma who had a brain aneurism and could do anything on her own. The CNAs are all nice and the nurses kept everyone informed. 100/100 in my book
