Having suffered from Vertigo for two months now without relief, I was told by a friend at Pilates that physical therapy might help. I was skeptical at first but made an appointment with Robert at BenchMark at the Pointe. I can honestly say that I am so thankful I did. Robert was able to properly diagnose my positional vertigo, perform a maneuver to get the crystals back into the right canal, provide exercise to do on my own and restore my health. He also taught me a lot about potential triggers so I can avoid a relapse. Tyler at BenchMark is equally amazing. He dry needled my shoulder to relieve a deep muscle knot. They were super helpful in filing my insurance and contacting them directly to determine my benefits and my copay and I did not have to have a referral to go to them. I just called and set up the initial appointment and they took care of the rest! Thank you to the team at BenchMark at the Pointe!

I wasn’t going to make a review but I feel like I have to. Staff was nice and told me how much I had to pay upfront each visit. After I finished their recommended treatment the bill started to show up. It been one year since my last visit and they are still sending me bills to this day. You don’t have a choice to pay because they will just send you to collections and trash your credit so each bill has been paid. I wish I never got treatment here as they are fishing for money still a year after I finished treatment. Edit: 10/29 I was called by BenchMark management today due to the poor review and they admitted everything I said above was true. Months after treatment they started sending bills because of an error on their end. And almost 1 year later sent me another bill because they messed up again and actually wanted more. No resolution just an apology they messed up.

I have had a good amount of physical therapy in the past, this is by far the best physical therapy that I have ever received. Each session pushes my limits and addresses the issue at the core. Tyler is absolutely amazing, extremely easy to talk to and explains all of his methods to be able to understand what the goal is for the day and overall. I have made huge improvements in my functionality and ability to overcome musculoskeletal ailments I have experienced for years with their help. I would highly recommend benchmark and their services to anyone looking for a great therapy experience.

I had a great experience at this smaller outpatient clinic last year. Tyler is experienced and professional, and his calm demeanor put me at ease during treatment sessions. I was very pleased with how quickly I made progress with his guidance, and that the PT goals were tailored to my personal goals. Scheduling and check in/out was easy with the friendly front desk staff. At times it was a bit crowded with multiple patients, their family members, plus therapy students, so I would recommend expanding! :)

The skilled folks at Ogden were wonderful. Quincy, Kenley and Gordon worked me over for knees, hips and sciatica. At 73 never had PT before but now I’ve felt the magic. Thanks all. Reade

Very friendly receptionist! And my therapist was excellent. My only complaint is that the entrance area is very dirty, especially the floor and the window shades.

Alexa @ BenchMark Physical Therapy at The Pointe in Wilmington, NC, is great. She did an initial evaluation of my whiplash related neck issues which she used to tailor my PT - each exercise was clearly explained and demonstrated. Additional exercises were added gradually as my neck pain subsided. All exercise details were printed out for me to use at home. She also pointed out the need for me to improve my posture while exercising; this was excellent advice which I am now conscious of all the time, not just while exercising. After 12 sessions, we mutually decided that I was able to continue exercising on my own at home due to decreased neck pain and significant positive improvement indicated in my final evaluation. Alexa is a kind, knowledgeable, patient, supportive, and professional physical therapist. I highly recommend her.

I was referred here by my doctor for a low back issue and have been very happy with my experience! It’s a small office where everyone is very friendly and you don’t feel like you’re just being pushed through - they know you and your issues. I work with Alexa and she has been fantastic - what started as more typical PT has now transitioned with my progress so she pushes me. It’s not easy, but I can feel my body changing. They were also great about finding me the most cost effective rate looking at going through insurance or self pay, which I really appreciated.
