BenchMark Physical Therapy

For years I had instability in my shoulder. In December, my shoulder finally gave out and I had to have surgery. Following this I was prescribed physical therapy. My doctor recommended me to Benchmark on Saint Simons. The smaller more personalized office was perfect. I made much more progress at Benchmark than I ever have rehabilitating my shoulder. From the therapists Ashley and Angela, to Johnnie at the front desk the atmosphere was great. I felt confident with the experienced staff, fully qualified and their good nature makes the visits a wonderful experience!

I was referred to Benchmark by my physician for two serious health issues I needed assistance with. My experience started on the phone when I spoke with Johnnie. She was incredible, She answered my questions which they were a few and explained to me the process. The next day I went in for my appointment and Johnnie and the staff welcomed me. Once again Johnny was awesome. From her southern accent, which right away, removed my stress and comforted me to walking through the process Johnnie was absolutely incredible. The business is truly blessed to have somebody like her representing them. Then it was time for my therapy with Ashley. We sat down in the back, where she asked me many questions and listened to each answer that I gave to her in depth. It was obvious to me right away that she was Gifted and I knew I was in great hands with her. After discussing the reason I was there Ashley started some therapy on me that to my absolute astonishment worked immediately. My hands have vascular calcification and I could not move them they were so painful. While she was doing therapy, I was thinking to myself this wasn't going to do anything, wow, I was wrong. When I went home, I did exactly what she had done to me while I was there. The following day when I woke knock on wood I've had no pain in my hands. A week later knock on wood my hands are pain free. Today I saw her for the second issue with my second body issue which is major. Unfortunately, I have end-stage kidney disease and when I walk, I cannot move. It becomes so painful. Ashley discussed with me the plan of attack and how we were going to move forward with my Therapy. She put me on a machine for eight minutes, then did some massage therapy and use the trigger gun which felt great. Ashley taught me some things I can do at my house without causing pain to my body. Ashley explained the process and then answered my questions. As I am self-employed and for my entire career I have been in the customer service business (restaurants) I can't stress enough how Important first impressions and customer service are. Without hesitation, Five stars and if I could go higher, both Johnnie and Ashley would be 10 stars

I highly recommend the team at Benchmark SSI. Rehab from a total knee replacement was a success thanks to them. The focus was on the fundamental exercises needed for extension and flex. The atmosphere is relaxed and professional. There is also plenty of encouragement and motivation to do what needs to be done to get the joint moving and to enjoy your new knee!

Went twice last summer and was told they took my insurance. Received no bills in the mail or anything. 10 months later I get a call from a collection agency for $600 from benchmark Edit: there was couple confusions, but they worked with me. And helped me as best as they could and we got everything figured out. They did a great job.

The staff at this office is amazing! I hurt my back before I left on vacation and worried that I was going to be in pain the entire time. The receptionist, Lauren, got me in for an evaluation. My therapist, Dominique, evaluated my issues and recommended a course of therapy that was spot on. She also educated me about my back issues and came up with a plan to provide relief and help avoid issues in the future. I give this practice, my highest recommendation!
