What can I say about Nikki and her team? I recently completed a number of sessions of hand therapy with Nikki. (My second session was with the kind Katherine). This sort of thing was entirely new to me, so after setting up the schedule of appointments for treatment I wasn’t sure what to expect. Once I arrived at the location, I was put at ease by the young ladies at the front. This continued with Nikki, as she went about evaluating my situation and documenting the issues. Not only was Nikki very professional in her approach, she injected her own friendly and warm personality throughout. I was impressed by the way Nikki used and encouraged humor in the sessions with me, a quality she displayed with her other patients also. In this way I felt Nikki recognized the humanity of the person she was working with and sought to bring it out. All in all, Nikki was truly amazing! I would recommend her to everyone who needs the specialized services she offers. And did I say how grateful my hands are? (By the way Nikki, what kind of socks are you wearing today?)

Nikki and Kate have helped restore my left thumb function after my joint replacement surgery. Nikki is creative with therapies to help recovery move forward. Kate makes sure all the movements are done correctly. The added bonus is Nikki does needling which advanced my therapy when it seemed "stuck". Would definitely recommend this practice for OT hand therapy. A+

I really don’t know how to put into words my how experience was with my recovery here besides the BEST! I was fortunate enough to have Nikki as my physical therapist last year and this year. I honestly feel I recovered faster than I should have. I have never known a facility to allow you to bring your everyday work items to be part of your physical therapy. As a flight attendant who had to have shoulder surgery to be able to bring their luggage in as part of the therapy made me so much more confident going back to work. All of the staff are fantastic and they make it coming to therapy a fun and exciting thing to do. It was something I looked forward to each week! I share my experience with all of my colleagues not just my airline, but all. I’m very thankful for this location and all apart of it!

Benchmark's excellent occupational therapist, "Nikki" Nicole Mathis, offered the healing care and instructive support that I needed to help me recover from injuries to my left hand, wrist, and shoulder. Nikki is trained for needling, and cupping which helped significantly with the extensive scar tissue, and painful nerve damage from my two surgeries. I can not thank her enough or Benchmark for their wonderful, caring staff. I highly recommend this Benchmark for ALL your Physical Therapy needs.

Although unfortunate circumstances are the reason for me visiting Benchmark PT, the staff here brightens my day! Everyone is so kind. Nikki is my therapist and she is dynamite! Nikki pays attention to detail, she is so patient and listens carefully to my concerns. She has made my experience with physical therapy much better than I thought it was going to be! The PT staff is well-trained, and their intake process is thorough at the Kennesaw location. My recovery from an injury has me back at the gym and walking every day. The PT prescribed varied in routine to keep it fresh. Like all things, you have to follow up at home.
