BenchMark Physical Therapy

I cannot say enough great things about BenchMark. Staff is wonderful and have helped me tremendously after my shoulder surgery! Highly recommended for all of your Physical Therapy needs!

Awful billing practices going on here. Refused me care with my copay and insurance. Stated they wanted me to pay the full amount for an appointment without submitting a claim to my insurance company or contacting my insurance company to discuss charges and charging me the agreed rate of my insurance for a therapy session. Stated it was their corporate policy. All this and I’ve been to another physical therapy office this year prior and walked out paying $12 per visit.

I have 2 complete tears and other damage to my right rotator cuff. I could have gone ahead and scheduled surgery but I had the option to try physical therapy first. I went to Benchmark PT in Front Royal, was evaluated and told it was possible to get other muscles in that shoulder to take over for the torn ones. They have been working with me for several weeks now and it amazes me how well my shoulder functions with little to no pain. Chris, Ian and MacKenzie have been awesome physical therapists. I see the surgeon next week for his evaluation. I think he'll be impressed enough to let me continue with PT and not go through with surgery. I'm so pleased!

I love this place and the care they provide. This is my fifth issue that I've been here for. Every prior visit have given me extraordinary results. I have been treated for shoulder, back, neck and trigger finger rehabilitation. All of my issues were resolved with very satisfactory mobility restored. Now I am having knee issues and so far I feel like I'm on the path to recovery. The staff here has always been exceptional; always professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I highly recommend Benchmark PT!

I have been seeing the PT experts at Benchmark for various issues. They are amazing and are extremely professional in their approach to getting one back on their feet and to feeling better. Most recently I had shoulder surgery done by Dr. Mitchell and with the PT/dry needling sessions I am improving weekly and should be back to good as new in the near term. Everyone is so focused on getting their patients on a good path, and their PT plans work, both at home and at the facility. I cannot say enough about their positivity, how they truly care for their patients, and how they are attuned to what you are going through. I have seen them work excellently with all ages, children to seniors and I love their interactions with everyone. None of us wants to have to do PT, we all want to be healthy and whole; working with Sherry Sue, Ian, Madison, Amanda, Brooke and the others make a difficult situation all the more appealing with their experience, excellence to healing, and their encouraging smiles even when we may not want to smile due to pain or stiffness due to our injuries. They are simply the best!!

Walked-in to hopefully make an appt. (The sign does say ‘Walk-Ins Welcome’) The receptionist was on the phone. I patiently waited for almost 10 minutes. It was clearly another co-worker, but also very clear that it was something that could wait till another time when no potential clients were waiting to be helped. I walked out. Having been a patient care coordinator for a physical therapist, I would have made the patient the priority.

My PT Physical Therapy name is Ian Peuterbaugh was and still a great therapist . I truly enjoyed all the hard and dedicated work he put into to help me to get through so I'm able to walk and to get me ready to go back to perform my bus driver duty. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have a great rapport with their patients. They know when to push you to do more and when to ease up. Would recommend to anyone needing physical therapy.
