BenchMark Physical Therapy

I was very disappointed with this business. I went in for dry needling for my upper back and neck area. After the initial discussion with the young man, I told him I was there for dry needling of my neck and upper back area. He was surprised. He said oh, then hollered at a lady across the large room with other people there, “do you do dry needling?” She hollered back yes. So he said ok I’ll set up your appointments for two times a week. The first appointment I had, I had to call in sick, as I woke up very sick. The next visit I went to I had the same young man, who had me do exercises with my legs. The only exercise that came close to my neck, upper back area was sitting on the table with a big ball and rolling it with my hands. While I was doing the leg exercises, the lady that did dry needling had come to the table next to us with another patient. He told her that I was there for dry needling and would she please explain the process to me. She said yes and then left to go do something else. By the time I was almost ready to leave, she never came back, and he leaned over and said Dry needling is a separate charge and service. He said I would have to pay for it separately. I was surprised and said oh how much will I have to pay? He said he didn’t know, that the one lady would have to tell me. So my session was over and I stood up and waited for a few minutes to see if she was going to come talk to me. She didn’t. I never got a call from her explaining it and how much I would have to pay or anything. So not only did I not get the dry kneeling, I had exercises for my legs instead of my neck/shoulder/upper back area. To this day I have no idea how much it would cost. They seemed too busy for a new patient. People would walk in and holler to their therapist “should I get on the bike?” And she would holler back yeah. No questions before that. Like what if the bike wouldn’t be good for him that day? I felt very “unwanted” as a patient and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The young man was nice, but acted like he was “afraid” of the other therapists. Thank you for listening

The therapist is great. My reason for not giving it a 5 is that it's in one big room and it doesn't allow for that much privacy. And another therapist was talking about personal things to my therapist while I was paying for my session. I thought it was rude.

I went for physical therapy for my ring finger can't bend it but just alttle I continue going for about a couple months with Merrith working with me on my ring finger after a couple month goes by I was able to bend my hand all the way to a fist which I can't do before I thank Merrith for doing all the exercise and working with some equipment with me as well to get my finger back in shape and working back normal..I highly recommend benchmark for your physical therapy

Fun while being professional and friendly. They take time to listen and ask relevant questions to tailor the treatment plan to my needs. As my physical ability improved, the treatment plan was modified with each visit. I would recommend this group and I will come back whenever I need PT.

I met with Abbe (Abby). She is fantastic. Very thorough, high energy, kind, and great at what she does for me as her patient. I personally find her charming. She makes me work, but if I can’t do something, she is able to accommodate MY needs! She makes me feel like I will be successful with my therapy! The ladies at the front desk are the best greeters I’ve ever met! They are patient when I had a lot of questions. They kindly helped me with the paperwork and future appointments. They smile, and make a great impression when I’m walking through the door, and when I leave! These two are an asset to Benchmark.

During my recent recovery from shoulder surgery, Rebekah Greer and all of the staff at the Foley, Alabama location made my need for physical therapy a very positive experience, right from my first session! They made me feel very welcome, which was extremely important to me, as it was my first time dealing with physical therapy and didn't know what to expect, beforehand. Always courteous and cheerful, the staff set the tone for the perfect atmosphere for me to achieve my recovery goals...and every session yielded very positive results! Their professionalism combined with very affable personalities made the entire process actually enjoyable...and I now consider them friends and extended family! I would wholeheartedly recommend Benchmark Therapy of Foley to anyone, for the very best in physical therapy care...I'm so glad I chose them!

Absolutely wonderful staff. Their knowledge and caring attitudes are a joy. I will be sure to use them again if the need arises. Thank you for all you do.

Great people. Rebecca did an awesome job. Ethan did awesome as well. Made me feel comfortable and like they really wanted to help me. Eye contact was great, that meant they were listening to my situation. Highly recommend this place.
