BenchMark Physical Therapy

I went to Benchmark for PT for a broken arm. The team (Jen, Hannah and Cole) was amazing! They were attentive and caring, and an absolute joy to work with. All of the exercises and treatments were thoroughly explained to me, and very effective. I felt completely confident in their care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have used Benchmark Physical Therapy at different times since 2014, when I first injured my knee. Kelly and Gray were my therapist and I could not have asked for better care. Also, she may not be there anymore but the sweet young lady named Laura who worked the office even offered to come get me so that I could make my very first appt. I will never forget her for trying to ease my fear. Scared to death, not knowing what to expect they walked me through every motion from wheelchair bound, to a walker, and finally on my own they were right beside me. In the end I was able to walk again and continue with things I loved doing. Time goes by and I developed Vertigo and Benchmark team took care of me again, and no more episodes since. I then had a rotator cuff tear, and returned to Benchmark to open arms practically because they feel like family. My sessions were great, they help you through every exercise as well as the ins and outs of your follow ups with your Dr. Once again this past May 2024 I had to have the other shoulder repaired for another tear. I can’t tell you how thankful I am that after all these years the Benchmark team new, and original therapist just take you in, assess, and get you started on what is going to make you feel well all over! This time I had the pleasure of meeting Mary!! Mary is a a very well established therapist, loves her job, and she is always learning new ways to make your progress better. She is very dedicated to your individual progress, and definitely keeps up with you. My experience this time has been a bit trying. The insurance restrictions made it a bit tricky but they rallied for me and got more visits to finish out there work on me. You not only get a wonderful therapist but Chrissie in the front office handles things timely and gives you updates to keep it moving smoothly. They worked with my insurance company, worked things out and I established a useable shoulder again. As unfortunate as it is I am having a clean out of scar tissue on that same shoulder in Dec. My rotator cuff is perfectly healed, but the scar tissue has grown so that it makes my shoulder very hard to use. Again, through these last 7 months Mary, Kelly, and Chrissie have all been right there to take care of anything from my therapy to my insurance. I could never dream of going anywhere else as long as the wonderful team at Benchmark is there. They’re the best, hands down, look no further, they are who you want to see you through your physical therapy!

I have had a great experience with benchmark. All of the staff are warm, knowledgeable, caring and professional , Kelly, Mary, went above and beyond for me during my treatments. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing PT.

Hanna, Jen and Cole were the PT’s I worked with. I was so impressed with their knowledge, their experience and patience with me. I admit I was nervous, but they put me at ease with their understanding and gentleness. I highly recommend either one of them.

I have to say that I’ve had a great experience with Benchmark. The environment was very welcoming and comfortable. I could not have gotten to where I’m at without any of the staff from reception, to therapist. Kudos to such a great team and staff. Thank you Benchmark.

I had surgery on a ruptured bicep and had to go to PT to regain use of my left arm. I've never had to go through PT before so I really didn't know what to expect and was really doubtful that it would make a difference. Today, I have full use and movement of my arm and I owe it to the awesome staff at Benchmark. From my first session, I was put at ease and my doubts were eliminated. The entire staff treated me with respect and was all about my recovery. If you have to have PT, I highly recommend Benchmark in Dawsonville. Thank you to Jon, Mary, Kelly, and the rest of the staff for helping me in my recovery. Y'all are the best.

The atmosphere is very welcoming. I most often worked with Kellie but found each therapist personable, thorough, kind and genuinely concerned about my recovery. Excellent experience…Highly recommend.

I just finished my last PT session after 3 1/2 months at BenchMark and wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the staff and therapists there. Everyone is so friendly and my main therapist, Jon, is so knowledgeable and really cares about his patients and helping to get them better! Shout outs also to Mary, Kelly, Cady, & Chrissy at the front desk! 5 stars all around!
