Dr. Garcia has helped me thru 2 stress fractures (that others mis-diagnosed) and now with big toe issues. I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and explains the diagnosis very well. I was also glad to see the Madison office had made marked improvements over the time I was there a few years ago. Staff was courteous and timely. I had a 9:20 appointment and I was seeing Dr. Garcia at 9:20 - perfect!

Highly recommend! During my first exam, Dr. Garcia-Cardona took time to thoroughly explain known issues, scheduled procedures to identify other possible causes, and offered a temporary option, and discussed path forward. Warm and friendly, listens to your concerns, and lets you ask questions. Her PA was present at the exam and entered data real-time as Dr Garcia-Cardona and I talked. SportsMed also has imaging machines, incl MRI on premises, which I find very convenient, along with a terrific Physical Therapy Center that I have used in the past for other medical issues. I chose Dr Garcia-Cardona based on all the other great reviews from patients. I'm pleased to add my review today.

Great care from Dr. Garcia -Cardona's team! She was very personable and caring. The visit was quick but within the very short amount of time of the visit she was kind, gentle, caring, and explained my issue very well. She made me feel very comfortable and important.

Dr Garcia at SportsMed is the most competent and caring doctor I’ve ever been to! She has performed surgery on my foot in the past and gave me my life back! She takes the time to listen and ensures she gives you the proper diagnosis. She isn’t quick to perform surgery, but only as a last resort after careful consideration and understanding that PT alone won’t resolve your problem. She is expert in her field and I’m grateful to have her as my doctor whenever I need her!

Everyone was very helpful at the facility, but I really appreciated Dr. Garcia-Cardona taking the time to hear the problems I was having and explaining how we were going to help the swelling in my foot.
