Beacon Occupational Health South Bend

Incredibly slow. I've been waiting 2 hours for a simple drug screen. Only one person taken to the back that whole time. Many people waiting who are obviously in discomfort from having to hold for so long. Everyone here appears to have an "I don't care" attitude. I have better things I need to be doing. Over 3 hours now... still waiting. Only 5 people here now. Don't understand what could possibly be taking so long. This is unacceptable. Going to call my prospective employer and see if they can send me some place else.

I do not have negative thoughts or feedback about the people working here. In fact each staff member was very kind and helpful and kept a good attitude and demeanor even while being severely short handed. This rating is towards Beacon itself. Two stars only because of the staff you do have on hand. I waited for two hours to get in for a 10 minute appointment. The onus is on Beacon. This has become an industrial complex that has grown into an unrecognizable entity that is consumed with making money at the cost of everyone. It’s not a health care system, it’s a sick care system that is bloated and sick in itself.

The WORST environment in healthcare I have ever visited. They outright lied about paperwork from my doctor that I personally brought back to them, saying it was blank. My company will not be using their services for DOT physicals ever again. My doctor actually said not to use them, and has recommended another facility.

There are literally 18 people waiting for a drug test. It’s 4pm and they close at 5pm Don’t want to take a pic of everyone and weird them out. But it’s rough. How long do they think people can hold their urine? This is a medical clinic .. look at all the terrible reviews.

I stopped in at lunch to get my CDL Physical. I was greeted warmly by Christina at the front counter. The place was very clean and it looked like it all the rooms had been painted since I'd been there last. All the staff were very friendly. My wait time to go back was fairly short. I did have to wait a bit for the NP to come, but she more that made up for that with her friendliness. I will definitely come back again.

If you are like me thinking the low review score is probably just from people mad they failed their drug tests, let me dash that thought. Horrible wait times and sub-par service. Also, if you do need to call them back to make another appointment or ask questions, just have your employer do it. I called 6 times, and they didn't respond for days until my employer called, and they got back to them immediately. It was one of my most disappointing healthcare experiences.

They don't even deserve one star! Arrived here at 7am and it's 8am now. They have already called another person ahead of me even though they got here after me. No system at all and you your at the mercy of LAZY people

I went for TB and drug screen. Didnt wait long and staff were very friendly to me.
