My mother was transferred from Shans Hospital to Baya Point and really , my mom and I are upset with this place . She is not getting her meds on b time. She asked for her pain meds and they give it to her about an hour later. The food is ridiculous. Not very appealing. When I went to see her and use her bathroom honestly there were 3 roaches. That was it. After 3 days I had my mom transferred to a much better facility. Now this place I will hive Baya Point is 2 stars and the place my mom was transferred to Solaris us a 5 star facility, way cleaner, tentative and much nicer staff.

I feel like the nurses are doing their best. They have a lot of disabled people that they are caring for. The only thing I feel could be better, is the smell in the facility. The patients that have issues with incontinence should be able to get a bath on a daily basis. I don't work there, and I don't want to presume that I know all there is to know, about staff availability. But I do believe that would make these patients feel better and make the facility smell better.

As of about 3 weeks ago my Dad was admitted into this facility and to date I have witnessed him not getting meds on time and not getting a nurse for up to 20 minutes or more when begging for one. I have heard them over the phone many times talking very rude and putting him off. He was supposed to see a doctor within a certain amount of time after being placed at the facility but didn't see one till after 2 weeks. Getting a bath regularly has been an issue also which only causes more problems for my Dad. There are some nurses whom are wonderful but then there are some who absolutely don't belong working in healthcare or at least with older people whom rely on nurses for help. I'm so glad my Dad has me and his sister to check on him, I can't imagine how the unfortunate people who don't have family to look out for them may suffer. If you have a family member being placed here just ck in with them often because depending on the shift things get done differently or not at all sometimes!

Very knowledgeable and great customer service I especially like that there it's like a calming environment and I love how they give each of their customers a personal touch and treat you like family and not just a customer or patient. Switching to the pharmacy was the best decision I made as far as my Pharmacy needs go.

Horrible experience. My husband is in there for rehab. He is diabetic but they do NOT serve diabetic meals. So he gets mashed potatoes...mac n cheese Country fried steak w gravy, a dinner roll and cake. Then because we questioned it They get all offended because I asked would she feed this to her mom who is diabetic and she says Absolutly. I told her shame on her. They scoff when he asked for assistance out of bed or on the toilet. One staff I said he was frustrated and she says so is she and she looks at another nurse to say...I am out of here before I lose my license! Maybe she should stop playing on her phone! People like her have no business in this field. The weekend staff was rude and hateful. I have done private home health care for 15 years! I would have been fired for this kinds of stuff. His roommate had bowel movements in his bed and runs my husband out of the room several times in the day at around 2:30 am or 3:00 am. A nurse told me he can't help it he has dementia. Wow no hippa there huh! The week day staff was much better and the PT people were awesome. This is the worse facility I have ever experience! I am very upset with the lack of dignity my husband is being treated!

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Baya Point rehabilitation. My mother received the care she needed, as well as caring attention from everyone she had contact with! Phenomenal people from the time you walk in the door! They truly care about the patients and their wellbeing! They even watched over my dad when he visited my mom every day. All of you are angels on earth….I don’t want to list names because I’m afraid I’d leave someone out…my family appreciates you beyond words❤️

I have been at Baya Pointe for less than 24 hours, and already I can say the staff and facilities here are GREAT. I was greeted warmly by everyone, and they went out of their way to make sure I knew they were glad to have me here. The facility is clean and updated. The pain and difficulty I'm having posed no obstacles for this team. They handled my needs and made me feel confident and comfortable. I am grateful to be at such a quality facility.
