Banner Physical Therapy - Goodyear

I am daily grateful I have experienced my PT journey here. Veronica has really listened to me and has had an eye on what I have needed to help me get stronger and heal. I come out of my sessions feeling much better than when I came in. She has been an incredible help. All the staff here have been great.

I’ve only had three therapy sessions but I absolutely love the atmosphere and Joy is amazing! Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. Joy is careful with me and pays attention to my facial expressions! She makes me laugh! I can’t say enough positive things about this place!

I manage to get hurt a lot. I mean - A LOT. I guess it's to be expected if you have a really active life style. However, I typically pass on going to Physical Therapy. I even only went twice when I had my ankle joint replaced with titanium and cobalt a few years back. But I decided to give PT a serious try when my shoulder surgeon said I now need a new left shoulder joint. I already had 2 surgeries on my right shoulder. I now wanted to see if PT could possibly get me back in my kayak with my beloved Aussie, Jake, without adding to the 15 surgeries I've already had in my life. I was in considerable pain when I went Banner PT on Estrella for an appointment with Kelsey Hagerdon, one of the therapists who works out of that facility. I've learned to fear and respect no-nonsense women and Kelsey has that kind of presence. At the same time I found her to be highly competent and really pretty darn nice. She gave me more challenging exercises with each visit and I found my shoulder improving rapidly. This was not supposed to happen given my MRI results. She also has kind of a Midas touch and I looked forward to having her manipulate my shoulder at the end of our sessions. It almost made me stupid, sleepy, or both - you know, the feeling you get when something feels so good you can almost fall asleep. I had to confess to my wife that really liked another woman's touch :). I also bombarded Kelsey with many questions - trying to discern what my limitations would or should be. She was great in addressing them all. I also appreciated that she gave me hope that I could come back farther than my diagnosis suggested. This whole world needs hope right now and Kelsey and the other therapists at Banner PT in Goodyear can help you physically and mentally - by giving you hope. Oh, I had occasion to watch other therapists in that facility work with their clients - especially some who were advanced in age. I saw what I believed to be genuine concern and empathetic communication toward all of the clients. I whined and winced a bit when I had a pay a bill on the way out the door. Kelsey overheard me talking to the receptionist and she emphatically said, "I'm worth it!" She was right, and so was I - I told you she was a no-nonsense kind of therapist.

Here with my 93yr old client for physical therapy and they are amazing! She’s getting stronger and her pain has improved. I was worried that they might over exert her, but they have increased her exercises slowly and she is much improved. The therapists here are excellent and kind. Front desk is lovely too, funny and kind. My client is super motivated to keep coming which makes this Caregiver very happy.

I’ve been seeing physical therapists for many years now for different injuries due to my passion of extreme exercise. Hands down, this place is the best. Six weeks after a total hip replacement, I am back to playing pickleball, hiking, golfing and will hop on my bike this week! They are all extremely knowledgeable, kind, and their goal is to get you where you want to be with your progress. Five star from the receptionist to each physical therapist!

My therapy session was great I hurt my lower back I have a bulge disc and Brandon Olson helped me that day, he explained everything detail by detail, he is an Awesome person.. staff is great as well. Thank you for your patience.. Banner Physical Therapy ❤️

I recently had a total knee replacement surgery, and my physical therapy was set up at this Goodyear location. New building, clean, and some fabulous treatment by the therapist's. Joy and Veronica have been so helpful getting me back on my feet. They know how to treat their patients, they truly care about their patients, and I am glad to be one of their patients. If you need help, this is the place to get it done.

The therapists and staff at Banner Physical Therapy on Estrella Parkway, Goodyear are at the very top of skill, knowledge, professionalism and caring. Both my husband and I have therapy here. They treat you like family and you really want to go. I wish we could get a fitness program there too. The care is so good and personal that you never want to end it.
