I had outpatient orthopedic surgery at Banner Del Webb. They were fantastic working with the Core Institute and my surgeon & Doctors. I was scheduled to arrive for surgery at 7am with the surgery scheduled for 10am. The registration desk is staffed with volunteers and the volunteer wasn't arriving until 7:30am. There was quite a few people waiting when we got there. A passing worker let us know about the volunteers schedule and got us checked in and shown to surgery floor and bed. All the nurses were really kind helping get me & everything ready for surgery. They were patient explaining everything and answering all questions. The Anathesologist was quite funny and entertaining. I was pretty nervous but everyone was great putting me at as much ease as possible. My "room" was clean the bathroom was close. After surgery the check out was quick and the gal who wheeled me out was quick, felt a little like a wheel chair race just coming out of the sedation. They were great calling all meds to the pharmacy before leaving. I got the nerve block for the arm surgery, I'd say do it for this type of surgery! It's deffinatly worth it to put off the worst pain for a day or two. It's been 3 weeks and healing up great! Thanks for working with us & coordinating the surgery.

I chose to give my child an oral version (which studies showed to be just as effective) of their intramuscular shot. The nurses here kept begging me to poke my child with their needle, I kept saying no. They tried to get me to willingly sign their paperwork to not hold them liable and give up any rights I had. I refused and said I'll only sign standard paperwork. She brought in another lady and asked me the same question. I said no, then she said, "OK! I'll witness it!" As if she caught me in some gotcha moment and marched away. Embarrassing.

My husband was recently in your hospital. During his 4 days there (5th floor, D tower) on two days his nurse was a woman named Kyle. She was by far the most attentive, caring, compassionate, personable nurse either of us has ever had the pleasure to be treated by. She totally went above and beyond her required job to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. Thank you, Kyle!

Recently had a stay for an extended period of time and I can not tell you how amazing everyone was. The care teams were attentive and informative, the facilities were kept up wonderfully, and I was left with tons of information from specialists on how to move forward with my care. Though I ended up there in an emergency and I’m not entirely sure I would have chosen a hospital inside of Sun City I’m so grateful that this is where I got care. Though I was not exactly capable of moving about the hospital my family was very pleased with the staff helping them find their way around and how pleasant everyone was.

I have been in the hospital on numerous occasions. L&D is fantastic and my nurse was amazing, I wouldn't have made it through without her. I've also been in the ER for myself and family members and have had nothing but a great experience. I have had surgery and the team from the surgery to the stay was incredible. I can't say enough great things about this hospital.

I gave birth to my first baby on Sept 3rd and words cannot express how thankful I am for the Banner Del Webb Labor and Delivery staff. My labor happened very fast and my Dr. and nurses acted even quicker to ensure my birth experience was a great one. They did everything in their power to follow my birth plan and were SO attentive to my needs, my babies needs, and my husbands needs. This team is top notch and I am forever grateful for their support during the biggest moment of my life.

My son has been a patient at Banner del Webb for almost a week. For some reason he is not listed on their census. When I call, the operator will not put me through to his nursing station because he is not listed as being in the hospital. My son has gotten sicker and he is unclear on what the plans are. I haven’t spoken to anyone about his condition since he was transferred there last week. Very frustrating. If I don’t get a call back by 4, I will be calling the police to go to the hospital and find my son. I live in Oregon and have already made one trip while he was in another Banner facility before his transfer. Guess I’ll have to make a second trip.
