Had an MRI done in their “open MRI“ machine. Much more user-friendly than the old tube you usually go in. The girl who brought me in from the waiting room seemed a little rushed and a bit abrupt but I figured she has her job to do. What I was not prepared for was so much noise and so many different types of sounds once the machine starts! I wished she had at least talked with me beforehand, telling me what to expect. She just handed me a pair of earplugs and said “it will be loud”. That’s fine, but at least prepare me for the sudden loud buzzing and banging!! . Fortunately, the guy who was running the machinery communicated with me while I was in the machine, telling me that there will be another sound and it will last for so many minutes, then another sound that will last for so many minutes…at least I was prepared for what was to come. This helped tremendously, and I thanked him because you have no idea what to expect when you go in! On my way out, I just mentioned to the girl who prepped me that in the future, it would be very helpful if she at least communicated with the patients what was going to happen and what kind of sounds you might hear. This would help alleviate a lot of fears people might have. Backus, please train your technicians to communicate with their patients!

I've visited the outpatient center for a few different things but I have always had a really good experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and the wait times and appointment availabilities are convenient. I've also visited the quest diagnostics in this location many times to get my blood drawn and the phlebotomists at this location always prove their experience and knowledge in how fast and efficiently they can get a blood draw from me, even though I have annoyingly difficult veins to hit.

Very good experience. Doctors, nurses, and staff made sure we had an understanding of everything that was going. Always willing to answer any questions you have and ready to help to get the job done. So happy we were able to find such a supportive and strait to the point kinda doctor. Thank you to you and your team. God Bless.

Place is great if ur white. For minorities its a hour long wait, alone. Even though u had an appointment. No one seems to care about you here. Disgusted others that come after me being seen first because they are white.

I had some lab work to get done and an ekg for pre op. I walked in but there were no signs to direct me. A kiosk to sign in, which I did. After a 20 minute wait I went in and got my blood drawn. The technician offered to walk me over to the EKG department; then; there went the ekg tech out to lunch and wouldn’t be back for an hour. !! Really? they close the shop and walk out!!? I was then shown the clipboard on the wall that is for signing in. Who would have guessed?! Note that I have a broken foot and am on crutches. It is 17 steps in to my house and 17 steps back to the car. So we go home and I must navigate the 51 steps again later. Why isn’t there someone in the doorway to help direct patients when they come in. And signs would also be helpful. And staff through the lunch hour. There are lots of volunteers available who would love to do a service like this. Get on the ball, Backus and perform the services you say you offer

If I could give a no star I would they are rude and inconsiderate. The nurses need to train on how to deal with people. Also they give a diagnosis one day and a different one the next. Horrible health-care. Especially if you a minority.

Don't get physical therapy here without checking all the costs up front. I found out too late they charge a hospital facility fee of over $200 per visit which my insurance wouldn't cover.
