I strained my achilles while playing tennis and figured the owner/physical therapist, Richard, would do something to work on the tendons themselves. He went through an extremely thorough examination to find the root cause of the problem instead of just focusing on the area that hurt. Richard took the time to explain what was going on, what we could do to reduce the pain, and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. Afterwards, I left feeling like I actually understood why the pain was caused and how the various exercises would alleviate it. I appreciate Richard's willingness to share his knowledge, his professionalism, and his caring manner. Highly recommended!
