Back in Motion Physical Therapy

I had an excellent experience at Back in Motion Physical Therapy. My husband did too! We both benefited from our time there under the expert care of Dan Sullivan. I had knee replacement surgery and my husband a back pain that plagued him for over a year. Dan immediatly identified the problem during his 1st visit and proceeded to do exercises with Paul that has helped immensely. I'm walking around pain free. We are both so grateful. I just had my one year appointment with the surgeon who took care of my dislocated shoulder. He tested my strength and range of motion and he was amazed. I told him I was also back to swimming again. He asked how I did it. I told him I worked with Dan Sullivan at Back in Motion PT in Brunswick, ME. Dan had me doing multiple exercises using exercise bands and free weights. This is my second time going to Back in Motion for a series of visits to address a physical problem. I cannot imagine getting better help anywhere! Their expertise is jaw-dropping, and they become friends who use their skills to help your body to heal. Garrett is my therapist this time around. I really like the way that he's handling my situation, his advice, and his explanations about why we're doing specific exercises.

I highly recommend Dan Sullivan. He was able to quickly assess my situation, and create a treatment plan that is working…when others have failed me elsewhere. I have great confidence in him based on the results I am seeing….and he’s easy to work with as well.

These therapists care about their patients. They are very knowledgeable and very helpful and listen carefully to provide the help you need. They will also give you a list of exercises in writing you should do at home to continue your treatment. I highly recommend the therapists at Back in Motion. They will help you.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Maine Feldenkrais & Physical Therapy. Casey was my primary provider and he was both extremely knowledgeable and highly capable. Perhaps most importantly, he had the insight to relate lifelong my habits of stance and posture to acute conditions and prescribe pathways toward correcting the whole package. He is an excellent listener and truly reactive to your input. The exercises he recommended were spot on and resulted in considerable improvement in the knee condition that brought me to the practice.
