Erica at Back in Motion is a miracle worker! She has totally transformed my quality of life - fixing my back/glute/knee pain after I had given up hope of being 100% pain-free. I love Back in Motion and Erica because they are always evolving and learning (when Erica came back from a course and tried a new technique, it fixed many months of some lingering pain after 1 visit!) and I really appreciate that you always see the PT at back in motion, it’s not a tech, which is great for those always-evolving treatment approaches. I know if I ever tweak or hurt anything again, that Erica can fix me!

I love this place! My hip and foot pain are much better. My therapist gave me more customized exercises to work on that better fit into my daily schedule when requested which made a world of difference. The office staff is helpful and friendly, and the space is great. I highly recommend Back In Motion!

This is my second experience at Back in Motion, having first gone to them last year for treatment of a debilitating ankle injury. This time, I needed PT for severe bursitis of my left knee, a painful, chronic condition that has severely hampered my mobility for the last 6 months as well as my ability to get sufficient sleep. Over the course of two months, I worked with Ann Marie & Julie, who gave me a simple but impactful regimen of exercises as well as enormously helpful recommendations for other remedies (kinesiology tape, affordable exercise equipment, etc) that have not only helped to reduce my pain levels, but have also made a huge difference in my mobility. When I first came to BiM in early September, my pain levels nearly brought me to tears, but today, my pain is manageable and I am seeing slow but steady improvement. I highly recommend the professionals at BiM.

I’ve had physical therapy (PT) off and on for 25 years after a knee injury and after being a gymnast for years. My most troublesome parts are my left hip and left shoulder, which almost constantly bother me and limit my activities. I’ve never received a consistent diagnosis - arthritis and joint deterioration being the usual suspects, but I’ve undergone X-rays, medication, dry needling, foam rolling, hands on manipulation, and more clams/weights/planks than I care to remember. The hip pain always came back limiting even my ability to walk, until I went to Back in Motion after my insurance carrier changed. My life changed, too, and today I’m pain free or if not, I have the tools to fix my pain myself, thanks to Katy Lyons. Katy introduced me to several techniques, including Total Motion Release (TMR) and PRI. She is wicked smart and if I came in feeling worse, she listened and always found a way to provide me relief. She was the first ever to connect my pain to unhappy fascia due to my two C-sections, not my knee injury, as other PT practitioners suggested. She taught me easy ways to quickly and immediately fix my pain myself, which is so empowering. I nicknamed her “Magician” because the results were so dramatic and immediate! Thanks to Katy I’m walking, dancing, jumping, bending, and doing whatever activities I want. It has been transformational and I can’t thank BIM/Katy enough for giving me back my life.

Erica could not be more caring and knowledgeable about her God given talent. I have had pains for over 50 years and have been to every kind of Doctor. Even had surgery. Erica came up with an exercise program and mussel manipulation that has helped me so much. I owe her the quality of life that I now have. I recommend Back in Motion to everyone I know. Jenny Dean

I injured my left shoulder (rotator cuff) while skiing in 2021 which severely limited my range of motion in my neck and shoulder. It required 6-7 months of PT and significant patience by Emily Maxwell DPT to get me back to a functional state and pain free. She is physical therapist who is also an athlete. She practices with great compassion and focused energy. Emily is great asset to Back in Motion Physical Therapy and I highly recommend her. :)

Both Jamie and Ann Marie were professional and compassionate. They truly cared about me and provided great guidance, support and therapeutic intervention. I am honored to have been in their care.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. After injuring my back in mid-February, it's in now mid-May and I am pain free after seeing the physical therapists at Back in Motion Physical Therapy. You will work hard to build your strength, but in a way that will make you want to continue. My hat is off to physical therapists Julie and Caitlin. Because of the exercises they taught me, I hope I never have another back injury. They are so nice and knowledgeable. This place books up quickly, but they will put you on a waiting list and will call you if they have a cancellation. Physical therapists are the unsung heroes of the medical field.
