The facility is top notch, the therapists are fantastic, resourceful and caring! I have referred several people here for the help, but a consensus is growing among patients as the office cancelation policy of $50 is contrary to the goals of restorative physical therapy and punitive to patients. Patients come to you for treatment for problems associated with balance, dizziness, vertigo and PHYSICAL impairment. These physical and neurological issues are by definition uncontrollable, especially at the stage patients are seeking therapy. To place further economic and emotional strain by levying fines on sick patients for uncontrollable instances, who look to services for relief and care, is contrary to a patient care mission and doing so at a time when Covid is causing community health threats, is actually disgusting. Do you want treat patients or just collect copayments?

The Doctors are very good at listening to everything you tell them. They are thoroughly good at letting you know what is causing your symptoms. The best of all the healing experience from vertigo that I experienced changed my life! Amazing staff and geniuses at what they do. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. I saw Doctor Kim Fox and she is amazing at what she does! -Tara Brown

Dr. Sales was my PT for vertigo and balance. He was great. And the office staff, Jill, was too. Everyone is very professional and works hard to get you better. Asheville is fortunate to have AVORA.

Incredibly empowering experience. Sudden loss of balance can be very demoralizing. The thoroughness of examination, procedures & patient education gave me a great deal of confidence as I powered through my condition. The staff are very caring, not rushed, and are excellent listeners. While they certainly are absorbed in the science, they trust that you know your own body- while teaching you about it along the way. I'm thankful for their service and support to return my balancing act to a feature of everyday life, just like it used to be!

Very thorough and professional. First visit was excellent. Keith gets 5 stars. I would like someone to clarify why Avora does not accept Humana Medicare Advantage assignment? In all the years of carrying insurance I have never had an insurance denied. Just curious.

I visited for therapy to address motion sickness from daily activities, such as cleaning and other chores. Carly Johnson and Dr. Katie Doud helped me with SMART training. I'm no longer feeling the motion sickness from daily activities, and I can enjoy activities I couldn't before! Thank you to Carly, Dr. Doud, and Jill for your wonderful help!

I suffered a concussion in Feb. 2018. Since then, I have suffered from PCS. My most severe symptom that I had is nausea from sensitivity to motion. I struggled driving short distances. I first started at Avora in 2019 in physical therapy with Brittany and concluded my time, most recently, with Carly in Gyrostim. I cant emphasize enough how life changing this place has been for me. Brittany, Carly, and Katie were the first people to give me hope that I could get better. Many other health professionals counted me as a loss. My PCS was so bad that I never thought I would be able to travel again or just reintroduce myself to a similar life I had pre-injury. After completing physical therapy, I met with Carly and Katie about trying Gyrostim. It was challenging for me in the most positive way. I never thought I would be able to do it. However, the encouragement and hope I received from staff was just what I needed to get through to my next step in PCS recovery. This place is amazing. The staff is amazing. Gyrostim is amazing. Try it for yourself if you are having PCS issues. The PCS journey is long. But, the correct treatment and people in your life can make it so much smoother. Go check out how life changing AVORA and Gyrostim can be for you.

I came here in 2019 because of dizziness and what I perceived to be vertigo. The problem was BPPV("ear rocks"). This place was a real gift and they treated me quickly and efficiently. What a relief! They're wonderful and I highly recommend them.
