Avocado Post Acute

My love one was placed here without acknowledging the rest of family. This place is dirty, smells like urine. They do not take care of the patients personal hygiene. The nurse staff does not care. My aunt is not crazy they placed her in the 300 wing unit. The 300 wing is full of mental people that need care and help . The staff ignores the patients. Please do not bring your love ones here. I am seeking to get her out of this facility.

I would like to appreciate to Avocado Post-Acute Facility and all it's staff the C.N.A, C.N, the RT's my provider Dr. David L. and the director of Respiratory Therapy. Sean H. For giving me a second home, for treating me with respect and as a patient. Not only you make me feel as part of your family, but you made me get my health back and prolonged my life. I am posting to express my gratitude toward Sean H, Director, and his staff. By the grace of God, my brother was sent to Avocado Post Acute to start his rehabilitation. I was not certain how or if my brother would recover. Through the professional care under Sean and his staff, I have my brother with his lively and gregarious demeanor. He is home now, and the family is very thankful.

I recently admitted my grandfather into this facility and was amazed at how great the treatment team is! They treated my grandfather with respect and dignity as well as patience and understanding. He was in a lot of pain and the team that included Erica, Anabel and gen really pulled through and went above and beyond! They quickly accessed his wound and walked me through the type of treatment he was going to receive. There was no questions I had in my mind since everything was answered before I could ask. Once again thank you for everything !

Wonderful place to send your loved one, the staff takes pride in caring for their patients. The residents are actively involved with the planning of their care, and the nursing care is top notch. There have been so many wonderful changes at this facility in recent months. The leadership is on the floor with the staff and patients, and have a good grasp of the day to day in the building. Thank you for all your hard work!

I went to visit my family member. I was very impressed with this facility. It’s not the building that wowed me but the staff and patients. Upon arrival I was greeting by multiple people including staff and patients at the door with a smile. They helped me sign in and even gave me masks so I can protect others. My family member has been here for about 2 months and so far they have good things to say about the place. He made friends with some of the staff and patients here. He says he is having a great time with the activities they have for him as well as great attentive care. When I was here I observed that staff was polite, caring and urgent with any needs. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I recently had my grandfather stay at Avocado Post Acute and was very pleased with the care and quick responses. My grandfather stayed about 1 month and was well accommodated for and loved the place. Dr. Gessner and her team were always ready with answers for any questions we had and checked on him quite frequently. The nursing crew on station 2 was superb. They always answered the call light and kept us updated and informed. I have a large family so to be able to keep all of us on the same page is already a challenge. They even helped my grandmother whenever she would visit which was almost everyday. The food was great. The rehab team was great. But What I appreciated the most was that they loved and cared for my grandfather like their own. Special shout out to station 2 for doing a good job! Thank you Avocado Post Acute!

It's difficult to express myself but they made me feel very comfortable and never had bad experience with them. I would definitely recommend them 100% the nurses and respiratory are great here. They really helped me. I want to recognize all the staff Sonia the cna, daisy cna and, socorro the cna and Janice the nurse and Luis maintenance and Salina from respiratory but all of them are really great.
