AVALA Physical & Hand Therapy - Covington West

I have been to several therapy places on the north shore and during my experience at AVALA PT I have felt the most comfortable and cared about. When I walk in, the receptionists know me by name just by seeing my face, even after just the first visit. My therapist, Victoria, is extremely knowledgeable and has taught me the details of my injury in a way that’s easy to understand and helped me to understand why the exercises I am doing are helping my recovery. I appreciate the knowledge that I’m gaining at each visit and share with my family. The entire staff is very kind, caring, attentive, and fun! You won’t regret using AVALA PT for your therapy needs. I know I’ll only use this facility for any future needs because I’ve gotten more out of my treatment at this facility with significant improvement then I ever received at the other therapy facilities for other injuries.

Great experience! This is a professional team of physical therapists who took excellent care of my physical therapy needs after shoulder surgery. Besides everyone being courteous, friendly, and competent, they kept a close eye on my condition and adjusted my PT routine as my condition improved. This kept me constantly improving and at no time did I feel my routines were stagnant or ineffective. I also appreciated there was very little wasted time between routines, as there was always someone ready to jump in and guide me through my next exercise. They certainly deserve 5 stars for the work they did with me, and other patients seemed to get the same excellent care.

While I can't say physical therapy is in my top ten list of favorite things to do, I can say that the people at Avala made it a much more enjoyable experience than I would have expected. Shawn, Joe, Victoria, and Sheila are encouraging, compassionate, and have an obvious enthusiasm for what they do. Their staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. I can't think of a better place to go for this type of care, and would utilize their facility again in a heartbeat should the necessity arise.

My experience with the physical therapy group at AVALA can be summed up in one word: Fabulous!! The therapists, receptionist and technician are not only highly knowledgeable in all aspects in the various forms of recovery but, more importantly in my opinion, it’s the genuine since of caring they show, provide and I feel as though they are family! The individual attention I receive each time I come, is indescribable! I must add a specific person in this review as she is above and beyond extraordinary!! Victoria Richardson has made feel as though I’m her only patient, knowing exactly my strengths and weaknesses! She is always ready to take me to the next appropriate step(a) necessary for my recovery and I truly feel like she is my sister….as I mentioned earlier, this truly is the place of my adopted family!! There is no other facility that I would suggest people to use for all of their physical therapy needs!

I have been very impressed with all of the staff at Avala Physical Therapy. They are very concerned about me and my recovery. They feel like a caring family. I have seen continual progress with my transitions and progress. I feel very confident with their care and professionalism.

The entire staff at Pinnacle Therapy make patients feel welcome and comfortable. They are totally professional as well as fun to be around. While in therapy I always get the best care and enjoy a laugh or two. I look forward to seeing everyone there and I learn some really interesting and fun trivia about life. They are the best!!!

My experience at Pinnacle Physical Therapy has been amazing. Everyone is so nice so helpful and always there to lend a helping hand. It truly makes the therapy session so much easier. Victoria was extremely attentive to my post knee surgery questions AND helped me understand what was happening to me, my body and my emotions. I was a mess after my surgery and she truly helped me thru recovery…both physically and mentally. I was so grateful for her care, experience and knowledge.
