AVA Rehabilitation Clinic

The facility is located in a plaza with lots of parking very convenient to my home and anyone living within Lake Wales area. The Dr and staff are very personable and professional. I was having trouble with shoulder pain and was referred by my PCP. The suggested therapy was very helpful and has improved my range of motion. Upon discharge he also provided a link to an ap to access further exercises at home. I’m glad I trusted his plan of care so that I can stay more active! Mary Porter, age 70

I was sent to AV Rehab by my primary physician for a neck problem. The staff was great. Dr. Gayed is very good at his job and explains the benefits of the therapy and exercises as you go. Karen is very efficient in her position, as well. She is on top of her duties. All in all, it was a good place to go for treatment. I recommend it highly. Thanks to both of them.

I really enjoyed my physical therapy. Dr. Gayle was so pleasant, helpful, kind, he took his time with all of his patients. I mean one on one time. showing me and making me do all the exercises I need to be doing for a better recovery. I really enjoyed, and appreciated Dr. Gayle and Mrs. Karen. Mrs. Karen is so sweet and pleasant also. They both really make you feel welcome. AVA thanks again, and keep up the good work.

Awesome Doctor. He’s such a caring & compassionate person. I’ve had PT before and was never treated this kind. My pain level is down. It takes me about 40 minutes to get to his office but it’s worth it. The best part I like is that he is a child of God. I highly recommend this Doctor. You will be pleased. God Bless!!!!!

My experiences with Dr. Gayle and his staff have all been extremely positive. I found him to be very knowledgeable and considerate. He takes time to explain how his therapies will treat my conditions. I always leave with with a series of exercises and stretches that I can do at home and have found them all to be beneficial. I highly recommend his services.

I’ve been going to Dr. G for a torn rotator cuff and hip bursitis for a little over two months. What a huge difference this has made in such a short time. Karen and the other office staff are very nice and very professional. It’s always spotlessly clean and you see staff cleaning machines and the treatment beds between patients. After seeing other older patients getting therapy for gait training, I talked to Dr. G about bringing my older relative too. It really has made a huge change in him. Strength training has made it easier for my 90 year old family member to get into and out of cars, sit and stand up easier, talk louder (he was starting to whisper), work his diaphragm and core to make it easier to stand up from a seated position. The gait training has helped him not be so wobbly and to stand up more straight. He has much more endurance now. Even the other clients have here are so nice so it is a very pleasant experience. We couldn’t be happier with the awesome care we are getting here.

I would highly recommend AVA Physical Therapy to anyone needing it! Dr G has been so very helpful giving me little tricks to help my recovery, all the while being my biggest advocate when I wasn’t sure I would ever get “back to normal”! The atmosphere is caring & encouraging, always.

I was recommended to AVA by my Ortho. Everyone there is very kind. Dr. Gayed is the best physical therapist I have ever been to. He is very knowledgeable in his field, goes above and beyond to help his patients, has a great sense of humor, as well as professional.
