I would like to thank Andrew Batson (PT, DPT) at Austin Physical Therapy. On the first day I walked into the clinic Andrew immediately recognized the severity of my issues caused by an injury to my spine. I could barely shuffle my feet and was not able to stand up straight or bend over. Andrew was able to diagnose I had a twisted pelvis, and left hip that was not functioning correctly. He established a plan to fix my issues which were the root cause of my pain and mobility problems. He started out slowly and gradually ramped up the therapeutic process. He monitored my progress and added exercises to help me regain strength and mobility in my legs and back. After 3 months I am able to stand up straight and walk without a limp. I actually feel pretty amazing and this is because of Andrew and the Austin Physical Therapy team. Thank you so much!!!!

Really enjoying Austin Physical Therapy. Friendly staff and convenient location. Everyone there has a great attitude! Tony seems to genuinely care about my needs. He does a great job of explaining the exercises we are doing. He always has a smile on his face. He asks me throughout the therapy how I am doing.

Have been going here for 18 months initially for back issues and now knee replacement therapy. Care is excellent, personal, professional and the therapists are firm but encouraging. Never feel that I am asked to do anything beyond my ability at that time Have made great progress at this center and very convenient to boot!

After a car accident I was rehabilitated at Austin Physical Therapy and progressed quickly and with wonderful results. I went from wheelchair to walking. I regained complete flexibility in my broken wrist. It was a quiet environment that was essential to dealing with my concussion issues. The care I received six years ago made returning to Austin Physical Therapy to attend my current issue a frozen shoulder an easy choice. They listen to your concerns and adjust as you progress making each visit a personal journey in healing.

I’m unable to recommend Austin Physical Therapy (APT). APT is a small Physical Therapy location that is difficult to coordinate with. I inquired for several months regarding their Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) service and was unable to learn much about the details of the service. Often, my emails, text messages, and voice mails were ignored. Just before Father’s Day they advertised a TPI Father’s Day special which I signed up for. I was told that I needed to contact a specific therapist, by text only, to schedule the initial assessment. The initial assessment went ok, except the therapist was slightly late for the appointment, and was told the TPI assessment results would be emailed to me in a few days. A few weeks later I finally received the computer-generated assessment. I found the assessment details to be very lacking; something that was very generic and simplistic. The Father’s Day package included the initial assessment and 4 or 5 follow-on sessions. Before departing from the initial assessment, we made the next appointment. On the morning of the scheduled appointment, I received a text indicating that it was a holiday, and they were closed…so they scheduled an appointment on a closed holiday! The therapist repeated that the best, and only way, to contact her regarding scheduling appointments was via text. I tried calling the main office and the other employees said that I needed to communicate directly with the therapist via text. After frustration with no replies, I finally asked for a refund. Over the next five months I was promised a refund, when I was able to get a response. The therapist always had an excuse. She was out of town, had sick relatives, or just busy. Often weeks would go by after sending a text message without a response. Finally, after about 6 months I gave up. Austin’s promises made are not promises kept. My purpose of this review is to share my experience.

I had such a great experience at Austin PT! My shoulder pain had gotten to the point that it was not only limiting what I could do at the gym, but it was also hurting throughout the day, most any time I reached for something overhead. After a few months of physical therapy, I can now workout at the gym pain-free, and it no longer hurts throughout the day! I also learned a lot about what I can do on my own going forward to prevent the pain from returning. The staff was really friendly, and the therapists were super knowledgeable and attentive to my specific goals. I’d highly recommend them!
