Excellent group. PA Robert Currence was very patient, answered all my questions about the treatment and then administered the most painless shot I’ve ever received. Feeling very good this morning. The support staff were all exceptional. Two thumps up to Dana, the nurse. Not looking forward to surgery in the years ahead but couldn’t be in better hands.
Knee surgery with Dr Lucey was a breeze. My second week and doing excellent! The knee machine is a must to get you moving with ease. Definitely recommend Dr Lucey.
A great visit with a dynamic team. Sophia, the X-ray technicion, was kind and provided clear direction and gentle positioning. Zac, the PA, listened to my concerns and provided helpful advice. Dr. Lucy clearly explained treatment options available including one not offered by other Atrium Health providers at this time.
Dr. Lucey explained my problem thoroughly and answered all my questions patiently. I have confidence in his expertise and he has a caring manner.
Dr Steve Lucey and the entire staff did a great job ! Being a small business, you deal with the same people which is good thing. Recovery for me was about 8 - 9 weeks. And I had full knee replacement . This is as good as you’ll find !
Not only is Dr. Lucey a skilled superior surgeon he is a superior human. He does everything he can to help his patients because he cares! Dr. Lucey took the time to listen gave his knowledgeable diagnosis and fixed the problem that a previous surgeon had ignored.Dr.Lucey’s surgery removed six months of pain and gave me range of motion.His assistants Colby and Zachary were accessible and equally cared about me and my progress.The excellent PT Jillian provided the rehab herself! No assistants! She too was skilled superior as well as a superior human. She accomplished all the surgical goals with kindness support and respect for my body’s pain threshold or limitations.She was full of positivity and was my cheerleader.Also I never left in pain. I left improved!!!The personal attention at Dr. Lucey’s practice was remarkable!Today I am active again because of Dr. Lucey and his staff.Thank you for giving me my life back!

Dr. Lucey and his team had a process in place from my consultation, surgery, physical therapy, and post operative care that was understandable and effective. I just had to follow the road map.
