Atmore Urgent Care

I arrived at 5:40 pm and they close at 6. NOONE made me feel like I had messed up their end of day. Everyone was so nice and professional. The doctor, nurses and the front desk staff were amazing. I will not hesitate to go back or refer anyone to go there.

This is where you need to go when traveling on interstate 65 and you have a medical issue! From the moment I walked in the door until I got the drugs from the pharmacy that is on site, I was treated with the most upmost respect and kindness. The quality of care was the finest I have ever receivedanywhere. I cannot recommend the staff and physician and pharmacist more than that!

I was so pleased with my first visit to the clinic. Ms. Gibson along with her nurses provided amazing and expedient care and service.

We were driving home early from a vacation in Biloxi MS to Birmingham because I was sick. The original plan was to go to an urgent care near us but as we were getting gas we decided to try this place. The absolute best experience I’ve ever had at a Urgent Care. The nurse practitioner went above and beyond, was incredibly thorough with her evaluation and making sure my symptoms were treated. I was blown away by the great service that urgent cares are famous for not having. We were in and out in 45 minutes and 25 of which was waiting on test results. The facility was incredibly clean.

Atmore urgent is so much better. I went in with sinus problems. They all made me feel so special. The whole team from the receptionist, nurse , Doctor and the pharmacist. The kindness, love and caring they shared was like medicine. I got my medicine without waiting. Thanks Atmore Urgent care. God Bless you all.

I have loved atmore urgent care for years along with the staff and drs until they moved to the interstate and a nurse practitioner was brought in. Every single time I have went in and had to see her, because the other drs were out. I would tell her I have a sinus infection and she says she will call in antibiotics and prednisone, until I get to the pharmacy and she has called in overpriced cough syrup and allergy medicine. My insurance has spent so much extra money on more visits because every time I/my daughter see’s her and don’t get what we need. I have to wait a few more days to go back and see the other two drs who have been with the urgent care for years, who call in exactly what we need. The only reason I’m rating the new building a 1 star is because of my frustration with her and no one doing anything. As a result I went today with a sinus infection and yet again she called in pricey cough medicine and allergy medicine!! Now I have to wait until Monday to see another Dr, pay another dang copay and let my insurance pay another dr to do what she refuses to do. I have made so many complaints to staff and have actually called up there for a week trying to get medication that she was supposed to call in and wouldn’t. It’s beyond So aggravating because of her. I never had any issues with the urgent care at either location until she was brought. From now on if the other drs are not there I will not be seen until I can see one of them. Just like I’m having to do Monday simply because I didn’t get what I needed today!

This place should be closed down. Wife went on Thursday, first time took over 2 hours and was never seen, went back and it did only take about 35 min that time. However, they said Walmart took Tricare insurance so they sent prescription there. Well they were wrong, ok maybe a mistake. They will send to Walgreens, never sent. Friday numerous calls never sent. Sat Walgreens said no prescription, urgent care said they sent it Friday at about 6:00pm. Don't forget she was seen on Thursday. Walgreens still Saturday afternoon says they never sent even tried to call hospital, they said will look into it took my number but never called back. Atmore Urgent care what a joke! Only work when convenient for them, end of day rush everyone in last hour to get you out so they can go home.

This place has been a wonderful experience for me, every time I’ve went.
