Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

The staff at Atlantic Shores is amazing. I have been to many facilities in Sussex County. There team is not one of changing faces, which is hard to find these days. They are great at providing patient care from their long term residents to their short term rehab. Their team is caring, supportive and provide great communication. The team treats their residents like extended family. The residents seem very happy and engaged. I often see most of them out of their rooms and participating in the activities that they have through out the day. They also have done an amazing job in all of there recent renovations and upgrades its a beautiful bright environment. There rehabilitation department is also great team equally caring and supportive. I would recommend their facility if you haven't seen it and you are considering a option for long term care or rehab you should take a tour its very nice.

Thank you to Atlantic Shores staff (Edey, Mia, Mary, and Amy)for the exceptional care of my Uncle during his stay. From ease of admission to assisting with finances and insurances for long term care, we are beyond impressed with the smooth transition. All staff demonstrated customer service with a smile and hello. The maintenance worker was amazing, explaining how the bed, controls and TV worked and replacing the TV when my Uncle’s TV was not working. The maintenance worker walks around the facility looking for things he can assist with, this is impressive! When my Uncle passed, the staff brought us some snacks and fluids. All staff showed so much kindness toward my Uncle and our family. Additionally, the building is older, however, the efforts of the housekeeping staff to keep the facility clean did not go unnoticed. Thank you all again for going above and beyond!

I recommend Atlantic Shores for your family and friends for short term and long term rehab. Staff are friendly and knowledge, going above and beyond to care for loved ones. Questions are answered promptly, only a phone call away for any needs. They have many activities and programs for residents. The meals are Five Star with generous helpings. Cleanliness is top tier. Everyone takes pride in their work with residents, other staff and visiting family. The staff will become part of your family!

Staff is very attentive and accomodating. I feel like I have family here. The facility is clean and taken care of daily physical therapy and occupational therapy could be longer sessions. The therapy staff is knowledgeable and happy to help in any way..

The staff took very good care of my mom. She was there for about a month. Can't say enough about the excellent care they gave her. Thank you so much!

Atlantic shores is a great long term facility. When visiting it appears clean and tidy, and well-maintained. The outside spaces are free of rubbish and clutter and The inside is always well-decorated and welcoming. The staff was professional, caring and compassionate to our whole family. Questions are always answered so thoroughly.

My mother is here. I was in her room and saw cockroaches crawling around. There were dead ones in traps. The other day she told me she woke up and there was a mouse in the bed with her running around the bed. This place needs a thorough cleaning.

Just admitted my husband to Atlantic Shore for PT rehab following his back surgery. We received a very warm welcome from everyone. I know my husband is in good hands.
