Atlantic Physical Therapy

I came to Atlantic with a well stretched rotator cuff and exacerbated arthritis in my shoulder. Madison took my wing under her wing; poked me, proded me, and bent me. After each visit I was a bit sore but feeling better each week. Range of motion came back fairly quickly, lingering joint pain went away slower but is no more.

I have been coming to Atlantic Physical Therapy off and on for approximately 10 years and each of those times my primary therapist has been Jenn. I've worked with each of the others that have been on staff there but Jenn has always been my primary. To say she "knows" me is an understatement. The care and treatment I have received at Atlantic PT has always been very professional, compassionate, current, and better yet, evidence based. The teams here have always worked together to help support each patient and to make the care individualized to fit each patient. As a healthcare professional myself, I would definitely recommend these highly skilled professionals to not only care for me, but also for my loved ones.

I am happy to report a very successful experience with Atlantic Physical Therapy in Falmouth, Maine. As a a broken-down, rapidly deteriorating 86 year old male, I went to APT out desperation, suffering from what I would call an acute, out-of-the-blue, sciatic nerve pain in my hip. Having had numerous largely unhelpful PT experiences elsewhere (for other maladies), I was quite skeptical about my prospects of being helped this time around. But my skepticism was misplaced. In perhaps 3 weeks, the sciatic pain was gone! I was astonished, and more than grateful for Madison C's clear, earnest and adaptive instructions as we worked through my problem. At all times, she was attentive to my response to various exercises and she gave me cogent explanations of what I was experiencing and what she was trying to do. I couldn't have asked for a more satisfactory experience. Thank you, Madison!

The physical therapists at Atlantic are top notch. I worked with Matt to try to resolve the shoulder, arm and thoracic region pain I was having due to compressed nerves. It is a challenging injury and he was flexible and patient as he tried to address the problem. He tried so many different techniques, and while he was unable to resolve the issue for me (sometimes PT just isn't enough), his efforts did result in temporary reduction in pain. He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.

Jennifer was very knowledgeable about my specific concerns. She explained, demonstrated and gave me handouts of all my exercises. She is a good listener, gave me time for input and questions and made me feel very comfortable during my visits. If I need physical therapy in the future I will not hesitate to recommend to my PCP another referral to Atlantic Physical Therapy and Jennifer in particular. Thank you , Darlene Grass
