I had an incredible experience with Robert and the whole team at Athletico. I struggle with chronic pain and they gave me the tools I need to change my life. I used to spend almost every single day in pain and now most days I am pain free. I genuinely never thought that would be possible and I am so thankful for their support. If you need help, this is the place to be. You will feel supported in every aspect of your treatment.

Trenton Athletico is an Excellent place to do PT. Knowledgeable trainers explain and demonstrate exercises completely. Friendly and relaxed staff. Clean and sanitary. Smiles all around. Other clients seem happy with their trainers. Always in a good mood. Very personable. Robert is a very professional, upbeat trainer. Definitely would go back if I needed PT again.

Robert, Andrew and their team are amazing at developing custom wellness programs and helpinging create individualized personal goals. They truly care about everyone, are involved in every step and ask how you are feeling throughout the visit.  The facility is clean, has convenient hours, flexible scheduling and a welcoming atmosphere. Would confidently recommend them to all of my family & friends.

Great clinic for PT. Robert, the doctor, to Loretta at the front desk, everyone was welcoming and helpful. Did 4 weeks of therapy following surgery on my Achilles tendon and felt very comfortable with the exercises and knowledge of staff. Thanks Athletico.

I grew up in Ohio and dislocated my knee cap many times, got a big surgery in 2017 to keep everything in place. My physical therapist over there was great. Moved to Michigan in 2022 and in 2024, I injured my knee yet again. After a kind of unnecessary surgery, I had to find a new physical therapist. Now this one, she would base my recovery on if I could do the exercise. She didn't care if the right muscles could do the exercise. So as long as I could do it somewhat, even wrong, it would pass. This happened with my wife too (she has hip issues). Also, she didn't really have a variety of exercises and if one didn't work, she just kept forcing it. We both transferred over to Athletico and saw huge results. Robert and Mick really saw that certain muscles needed to do certain activities and exercises weren't engaged. We worked on getting those muscles working again and strengthened, so I could preform everything correctly instead of incorrectly. I could do leg raises at the other place, but my knee was bent and my thigh muscles weren't working. You have to engage your thigh and keep your leg straight to do them properly. I was limping around for months seeing not great results until I switched to Athletico. The other therapist was super nice, but not at all knowledgable I felt. I did physical therapy for years for previous knee injuries before this and I am glad I had some of that knowledge to know after a while, it wasn't just me. My parents visited and would always tell me to work harder, but I couldn't just work harder without the proper guidance. I am not a professional, just someone with a bad knee. Mick and Robert also have more exercises than you can count to try if others didn't work. Always coming up with different things. Everyone at that office is always so nice and super helpful. Robert even came with me to a doctors appointment to help advocate with me. And when my surgeon tried to blame everything on me, he told me his knowledge and why he was wrong. I was told it was my fault my thigh muscle wasn't wanting to engage, but I can't just turn that on. It's confusing, but how he explained it made sense haha. I honestly highly don't recommend this surgeon. Yesterday might be my last day at Athletico, but I have a follow up with my surgeon on Monday and he will tell me. I really appreciate all the work that's been done and everyone at this office. I also have to shout out Evan (I believe), one of the physical therapy assistants. He has always been so helpful and kind. Earlier this week, it was really busy and he got my notes and took over for my full session. I really like how he checks in like Robert and Mick. "Is that too easy, how does that feel, is that too hard, is there pain... etc". Oh and to note, Loretta at the front desk is always checking in about scheduling and super helpful. I usually don't have a problem with getting the appointment times I needed. I love that they are open so long, the other office had more limited hours. Thank you to everyone here for everything!!!! I really appreciate it all! I guess I should add the only bad part about this is the billing department. Everything for me was covered through workers comp, but my wife's was not. Attached photo is what she emailed them about the whole situation because I think everyone needs to be aware.

Trenton-Woodhaven Athletico PT is the best! The therapy process is professional, seamless and individualized each visit for optimal recovery. Robert and Andrew are top notch in their profession and all staff are helpful and welcoming. I now have the home program created for me and use the app as needed for home instruction. Highly recommend this location!!!

My experience at this clinic was amazing. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Robert took the time to understand my specific needs and created a personalized treatment plan that really helped me gain the confidence to do all of this myself at home. I can’t explain the significant amount of change I have felt in just the six weeks that I have been there. I’ve had brief experiences with everyone in the clinic, and they are just as great! I highly recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy services!

The improvement in my neck and nerve condition has given me the confidence to continue the exercise program they developed for me and enjoy the many activities that enjoy.
