Athletico Physical Therapy - Tempe

This has been one of the best physical therapy experiences I’ve ever had. Every staff member at this facility truly deserves five stars. I was referred to see Jenna Mahdi, the Clinic Manager, and she exceeded my expectations. When I first came in for a consultation, I could barely move my neck and was in immense pain. Jenna was incredibly thorough—she took her time, listened carefully, asked a lot of questions, and developed a personalized treatment plan. She avoids cookie-cutter approaches and tailors everything to make sure the treatment plan actually works for you and modifies it along the way. Christina was also another therapist I worked with and she is fantastic as well. Definitely recommend this facility if you're in need for physical therapy!!

I had an incredible experience at the McClintock Athletico. Jenna was my therapist throughout treatment. She was incredibly patient, articulate and knowledgeable. I felt like I had the absolute best, most concise and most effective treatment plan I could have received for my injury. She worked with me and customized my program specifically to meet my needs, goals and concerns. Thank you!

I have been to a few different physical therapy places over the years, but Athletico has been the best physical therapy experience I have ever had. Jenna is the physical therapist I regularly work with and she is the best!!!

My new favorite place for PT. I had a knee replacement in Feb 2024 and I can’t speak highly enough about the therapy I received here. I’ve been to lots of PT in my 69 years and this is the best place I have found. Jenna, Kelsey and Christina are so professional and really care about you as a person and getting you back to full movement. My knee is like new after a total knee replacement. My advice: Get a good surgeon and come here and start PT as soon as you can. They are miracle workers. You won’t regret it!

Bad customer service. Office staff did not explain the first assessment vs evaluation. I gave them my insurance card of potential future visits but decided not to proceed. I asked prior to getting taken back if I was doing the first visit deal that was free and they had told me it was apart of the first visit. I decided not to move forward as I did not like it. They said since they had my insurance card they charged it. I would not recommend the Tempe location Atheletico. Seems the front desk staff are not knowledgeable or friendly.

I can't say enough good things about this place; I highly recommend Athletico Physical Therapy, Tempe!!! Three days after knee surgery I walked into this place, and I've spent 2-3 days a week for the past six and a half months first working on regaining my range of motion, then focusing on building up strength in my knee. I enjoy my time in this friendly, professional environment. Emily is always ready with a smile when I walk in, and whether I'm seeing physical therapists Jenna or Kelsey, or assistant therapist, Christina, I know I'm in good hands. These ladies have a wealth of knowledge and start by asking how my leg is feeling and then change exercises if needed in response to my answer. Jenna is very teacher-like and in her dual role as therapist and office manager responsible for the warm and friendly atmosphere as well as hiring the wonderful aides, mostly ASU students, who work here. Athlete Kelsey reminds me more of a coach with her high energy and high fives, and Christina, who seems more quiet and reserved at first, is really sweet and fun. Half the hour is spent with one of these three, then the rest of the time is spent going through the rest of the exercises with one of the aides. Whether it's Alek or newbie, Jonah, (who were both patients before getting jobs here), Kassandra, Braedon, or Lawrence, (or Zoe who I finally met two weeks ago), you're in good hands. They're all friendly, encouraging, and good listeners who are there to make sure you're getting the most out of your training. Jenna has encouraged them to double check if they're not sure about anything which ensures that everyone is on the same page. Honestly, if you have to do therapy, you want to do it somewhere that everyone has your best interests at heart, and where you can laugh along with the other patients in a clean and friendly environment! This is that place!

I love this place for my PT!! They are so much fun and have a relaxed and friendly vibe. They also push me in a positive way to improve post surgery. I look forward to going each time!!

Excellent physical therapy (PT). Therapists are very knowledgeable in what they are doing. I have back pain due to injury and switched from another physical therapy company and Athletico Tempe healed me faster got me up to speed!! The entire staff are so kind. When I first walked into facility you can observe great teamwork, staff smiling😊 what a change to previous PT. Athletico Tempe are determined to get you healed. Also their hours are very accommodating to my schedule they stay open late. The front desk staff are very helpful with insurance and copays. Always friendly. Very professional staff. Highly recommend Athletico Tempe!👌
