Athletico Physical Therapy - River West

Jeanne and the River West team was excellent! She offered helpful advice and listened to me to provide the care I needed. Her experience with runners and special certifications were especially helpful to treat my running related pain. The clinic’s variable hours were helpful for scheduling.

Can’t say enough about my experience at this Athletico location. They were very accommodating with scheduling, very knowledgeable and thorough with my program, and flexible based on my progress. Tyler was my therapist for most of my sessions, and I genuinely felt he had a good grasp of when to push forward and when to hold back. I also appreciated the friendliness and overall chill vibe of the staff, which made it pleasant to come to each session.

I can't thank Jeanne and her team enough. Back in June, I injured my back pretty bad. Unable to get into my PCP for at least a week I called Athletico hoping there was something they could do to help me regain some amount of normalcy to my life. She was beyond fantastic! She was able to get me an appointment the same day and I subsequently spent 3 months with her and her team. She was polite, knowledgeable, and made PT fun. They were flexible around my busy work schedule and gave me at-home workouts I could do on weeks I was traveling and wasn't able to come in. She got me back to new without even needing to visit my PCP and when I was done, she had a gift bag for me to congratulate me on my progress. You can tell she really cares about her patients and I can't thank her enough for helping me through my back injury. If you need a physical therapist, I would highly recommend Jeanne and her team!

I just finished 10 weeks of PT with Jeanne. When I started I had extreme back pain and could barely walk. Just getting out of bed was a struggle. Now all the pain is gone and they’ve helped me develop healthy habits. Hopefully I never have to come back. If by chance I hurt myself again, I’d definitely pick Jeanne to fix me again. Thank you Athletico Team for helping me get my life back.

I unfortunately found myself having to find a physical therapist to treat an injury to both feet. I found myself at my friendly neighborhood Athletico and I was super glad I stopped in. From day one Richard, my therapist, was attentive, intuitive and extremely flexible with scheduling. We started with a free assessment making sure he planned my road to recovery on my abilities and timeline. Never pushing me, but challenging me. Checking in on the progress frequently and setting goals was especially beneficial in knowing what I was getting into. The coordination with my foot surgeon, insurance company was something I was not expecting but his staff was on it. From their easy going office manger (who handles everything with a smile and remembers you ) to the other therapist that were there helping me along my road to recovery was extra special. I completed my recovery and sadly said goodbye, did I mention Richard sent me home with exercises so that I continue my therapy at home as needed and tips so I don't re-injure myself. This location is clean, well lit, has indoor parking and the best staff one could hope for. I hate to say this but if I ever get injured again. I know where I'm going.

** Head - shoulders - knees and toes - knees and toes ** Okay not quite, but this is how holistic Athletico's care and outlook for the patient is that they provide treatment for seemingly everything. Just in this past year Rick has helped me out with a right knee issue while training for the London marathon, and Deepa assisted with both shoulders and made the right call to see a doctor when necessary. Both of them currently are helping me regain my lower body strength in recovery from all the running. Shani holds down the fort, scheduling me as far ahead as I need and communicates about any updates immediately about the schedule or my billing. My jersey may say Team World Vision, but my underwear is Athletico blue. And that holistic part? There's not been a day I've gone in to Athletico and not been asked how I am personally doing. A physical therapy clinic doesn't have to do that, but this one does - and it makes a difference.

I had a great experience at the River West Athletico location working with Jeanne during the final weeks of my marathon training to address an injury and get me back to running in time for race day! Jeanne was very collaborative in my treatment modifying on the fly and employing lots of different approaches to help me heal, stretch, sooth and strengthen! As I plan my next round of training I definitely will include visits to Athletico for dry needling and tune-ups. The entire staff is lovely, I can't recommend them highly enough! Thanks for getting me back to running Jeanne!

Jeanne & team- Thank you so much for helping me get my knee back to 100%. After weeks of PT, my knee feels great and ready to play tennis. It was so easy to coordinate appointments and all the progression exercises helped to get me better. Jeanne and team are so easy to talk to, easy to work with, super knowledgeable, and truly listen to you. They made me feel comfortable each visit and you can tell that it is very much a collaborative and a client-centered approach how they work with clients.
