Athletico Physical Therapy - Phoenix (Northwest Desert Ridge)

I stopped by Athletico with lingering knee pain from a sports injury that had been bothering me for months. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they even offered me a free consultation. I'm so glad I took them up on it! Brian assessed my knee and referred me to a specialist, and now I'm finally on the path to recovery. I highly recommend Athletico for anyone in need of care!

Definitely recommend this place. My doctor referred me here, and Joni called me the next day. Got me in the day after that. She set up a schedule for the month, and was very helpful making any changes. Brian did my evaluation on the first day, April 3rd, and my final day, just last week. In addition to his evaluation and exercise routines, he made simple life changing suggestions. Ride my bike with a higher handlebar, try golfing right handed, as I'm a lefty. John did his evaluation at each appointment and checked for strength, stability and endurance. Last but not least, Becka works with you on your routines, on a timer, with 3-4 clients at a time. That's impressive! I've had PT before, but not like this. They have an exercise APP that I'm still using, to do the routines daily, at home

Recently tweaked my shoulder and called up for a free conciliation. Joni at the front desk was awesome and squeezed me in to their schedule asap. Saw Bryan and he was very knowledgable and informative. Didn’t end up requiring any PT but he provided/demonstrated some exercises that I could do to help heal my injury. 5/5 experience. Hopefully I won’t have to return but if I do end up needing rehab, this would be my first place to look!

My surgeon referred me to this specific Athletico location after major spinal surgery. I was in very fragile condition when I arrived for my first visit. Brian took his time, assessed my needs and helped me take my first real steps toward real recovery. Bekah has helped me immensely in my stretching and strength training, which really added to Brian's 1st rate care. Joni, at the front desk, keeps me scheduled and has a welcoming smile every visit. The staff here is fantastic, I'm grateful beyond words, to them, and my surgeon, Dr. Yusopov, for helping me getting my life back after years of intense pain. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have chronic pain in my lumbar area, and have had it for over 20 years. I was at a point that I was basically throwing my right leg in front of my body in order to walk due to the pain. 8 sessions with Brian and Jen at Athletico and my pain is greatly reduced, and I can walk like normal. I'm able to take my large dogs for a walk everyday, even ride my bicycle. My sleep has drastically improved since I'm not in so much pain. They were both very informative, patient and knew exactly what exercises I needed to stretch my back muscles and regain some core strength. I'm very thankful to them both. Great place and great people!

Brian is an excellent therapist. He has been working on my complex low back pain over last 3 months. I have seen amazing results already and on my way to recovery finally ( after seeing 2 other PT places) . He is by far the best!!!

Athletic helped me with a back injury that occurred while exercising. They not only helped me strengthen my back and relieve pain but they incorporated a whole body program to retrain me how to work out appropriately. Justine was tremendous. She is a tremendous Physical Therapist that really challenged and showed me exercises to take with me beyond my time at Athletics. She was also very personable and fun to work with. The entire team are truly professional, organized and always check in with you along the way to see how you are doing. Thank you so much to the team there. While I hope to not have to go back for another injury, they will definitely be my first choice if I do have one.
