Athletico Physical Therapy - Pekin

The physical therapists were encouraging and well versed in the process. I had a few setbacks but Gabe made me feel like we could overcome them. The environment is so positive and I felt welcomed.

Incredible team and willing to give all sorts of motivation, support, and dedication to help you feel like your best self. Fun, comfortable environment and all around the best place to be.

Pekin Athletico is Awesome! They give great care to patients! It is a very fun environment. I especially love the balloons they had hanging from the ceiling. SO FUN!

They are very driven to help you get better fast. Everyone I Dealt with there during my process of healing were very nice and extremely helpful.

I was in a car accident January 9, 2024. I started receiving physical therapy through another company. I was not noticing any progress so I called Athletico. I was scheduled the very next day. The ladies at the front desk did prompt work by contacting my physician for a referral so there was no delay on beginning treatment. After my assessment at my first appointment I was already impressed. Trey explained in detail what was causing my issues and how it would be treated. I began noticing improvements after the first few sessions and continue to improve. There is an app also that shows your treatment plan that you follow daily. The ease of this is fantastic as it has videos so you are sure to have your body in the correct posture, etc. The atmosphere is amazing and all staff members have magnetic personalities! I look forward to my appointments. I have been in physical therapy for other reasons in the past and always gone to another place. I wish I would have gone to Athletico all along for all my needs. I truly don’t even feel that 5 stars is even enough to express how wonderful they are!

My experience here has been excellent. It is not easy going through body imbalances, pains, or surgery recoveries. Trey and his staff have their systems down and keep the energy feeling light and happy which makes the recovery process more enjoyable - something you don’t find very often when going to therapy. I’ve been to therapy at Athletico in Pekin approximately 5 times since they opened. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and you can tell that they are your friends and family. They treat you with respect and kindness. I highly recommend Athletico for all of your physical therapy needs. Deb Richardson

Well since the very first phone call to Kristi to set up an evaluation to graduation day, the staff has been amazing. I have spent six months with them during my recovery and every day I got to watch all the patients come in the door and be greeted first thing and treated with respect and professionalism throughout their visit. They really treat everyone fair and listen to their concerns and adapt to their needs during that visit. Trey and Kristen are top notch. They push you when you need pushed and pay attention to when you are struggling and need a break. They understand what to do when my arm was hurting and took care of it to make it better (wont miss those Astym tools too much 😂.) Their skill sets tho differ in some ways mesh together to bring a very solid therapy session to anyone who gets onto their schedule. Mallory and Hailey are such fantastic people who add so much to the team at the Pekin location. I will miss picking on them! They are always so full of laughter and sometimes a little harmless banter but always treat everyone with respect. They are the best germ killers too! Never saw a single germ in my time being there 🦠 Kristi at the front desk is always getting ready for the next holidays decorations and keeping Trey in line. Very professional and quick to respond with any concerns you may have with appointments or anything else that may be of concern. Not too often that there isnt a laugh coming from behind that front desk. She always greets everyone that walks through the door and ask about the question of the day on the white board. The Pekin Super Team would be my choice if you are looking for a unique experience that while beneficial and hard earned work is not an all business no fun atmosphere. I appreciate every single one of them for the time I got to spend with them. I got to know them and build a relationship all while healing from my injury. I am sad that my time is done but thankful for everything they did for me and my recovery. I know that your experience will be just as fantastic as mine was. One more note I did learn one thing from Lane. If your arm brace doesn't fit your arm right it is just because you have weird arms! Thank you again for a wonderful experience and journey to recovery. You all deserve raises, praises and lunches. Call me if you get the lunches, I will visit!
