Athletico Physical Therapy - Mesa West

I can’t say enough good things about Athletico PT (Mesa)! I started going there 2-3 times a week about six weeks before my big hike on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I was pretty nervous about it because I had some knee issues, including a locked-up knee situation that made me anxious about keeping up with my group of 15 people. The awesome team at Athletico worked like detectives, taking the time to understand the root causes of my issues. They identified that I had weak glutes and was compensating with different muscles, making me quad dominant and preventing me from engaging my glutes as needed. They also found that my low ankle mobility was a factor in my knee issues. They created a solid strengthening program that helped me target the right muscles, which made all the difference! Thanks to their expertise and support, I completed the four-day hike and made it to the top with zero injuries or pain! It was an unforgettable experience, and I enjoyed every minute of it, all because of the fantastic staff at Athletico PT (Mesa).

I have had two great experiences with the team at Athletico; first for sciatica and lower back issues, and most recently with a knee replacement. Everyone on the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the daily sessions are varied and effective! I am still amazed at how quickly I progressed, thanks to their help. It is hard work, but you get all the help and encouragement you need. Much love and respect to Justin, Bree, all the Megs and the rest of the team. I am more than happy to recommend them! If only they'd bring back the candy dish... :)

I had an awesome experience, Megan was amazing! There was no doubt that she knew what she was doing and her professionalism made it very easy to explain what I was experiencing. Very comfortable atmosphere with people that love what they do! Can’t say enough good things about Athletico!

I came here after having ACL /Meniscus surgery. The whole staff here is amazing and very knowledgeable with their work. They are all a pleasure to have an appointment with and ensure that all your exercises are being done properly and at your comfort level. If physical therapy is needed, this is the location to go. 🙂

Staff is very personable. They make sure you feel comfortable welcome from the moment you walk through the door. They explain what they are doing and WHY they are doing it & make sure that you are making gains without over working your injury. Cannot recommend highly enough!!! I have had PT for multiple issues and this is by far the best facility I have been to in the Mesa area!

The Megs, Chris, and Val were amazing. They made me laugh, rallied me when I felt overwhelmed with the process of healing, and made physical therapy a joy. I genuinely left my last session sad to say goodbye.

So grateful for the staff here! Not only were they kind and enjoyable, they were knowledgeable and helpful. I have been to several PT offices across the valley and this has been my preferred company and location. They helped me get back my ability to function and, as a result, my life. This place is amazing! Megan took my severely damaged and surgically repaired shoulder and returned to good as new. Even the surgeon was impressed! Well done keep up the good work. Highly recommended.
