Athletico Physical Therapy - Lakeview West

I recently concluded seven months of physical therapy following surgery for a torn rotator cuff and I could not have been more pleased with the care I received from Maddie. Maddie is very diligent and consistently provided a very high level of therapy with every single appointment. She truly puts the needs of the patient above all else and is driven to make sure you receive the best possible recovery. In addition she is smart, cheerful and enjoyable to be around. Occasionally when my schedule changed I saw another therapist, Karen, who is also excellent and a credit to her position. The rest of the staff from Debbie who is an administrator to Gabe, Grace and Alexus are future therapists there who are tremendous in PT support roles. Nicer and more thoughtful people you will not find. Alyssa is another therapist there who also manages Lakeview West location. She is also amazing and clearly knows how to hire and develop the best people in therapy you can get. My appointments typically flew by because it was such an enjoyable experience PT can be a long grind but when you have an outstanding environment and very professional care, it is amazing how fast appointments go by. My best PT experience!! Maddie is completely focused on each patient that is in front of her and works hard to listen and adjust treatment plans as needed. I’ve seen a massive improvement in my pain level and am finally able to start doing the things I enjoy again. In addition to everything that we worked on in the clinic, Maddie was able to connect me to an amazing doctor who opened the network of care I needed beyond PT. Very above and beyond. Gretchen was a major part of my care team as well. She was thoughtful, informative, kind, and really held me accountable. Gretchen got to know me pretty well and knew when to push me a little which made a big difference for me in the long run. Grace, Gabe, and Alexis were fantastic rehab aides. They were so informative and were so professional. Beyond that they were just so kind and really great to get to know between exercises. Each of them is going to make such a great PT somewhere down the line. Debbie at the front desk is so accommodating with scheduling when possible, and is such a great presence to be greeted with. Anyone who I got to talk to here beyond my care team was amazing. The whole staff here makes it feel less like a chore and more enjoyable than any other PT clinic I’ve been to. If I ever need PT again (even if I move across the city) I’ll come back here. Thank you guys :)

After two bad ankle injuries, I came to this Athletico and was seen by the same PT twice, Maddie Negaard. In short: she was fantastic both times. My second ankle injury was a bad one (grade 3) and I was on crutches for almost two months. It improved my outlook knowing I could get to this Athletico and be seen by Maddie again. She provided great guidance, helped provide pain relief, and got me walking again and playing soccer ahead of schedule. Additionally, Maddie and the rest of the staff there really try to get to know you as people, and it made me really looked forward to each session. Can’t recommend her or this location enough, a perfect 5/5.

Great experience at this Athletico treating my foot and knee. I was experiencing pain but nothing surgical. Karen did a great job of isolating what I was feeling and ultimately treating + strengthening the area. I was able to resume activities with significantly less pain shortly after. I also gained a wealth of knowledge on how to mitigate pain by training proactively for the future. Can’t recommend this location enough.

Came in with some back issues, left with a brand new understanding and (appreciation) of my body. PT helped me work muscles I didn't know I had (or needed) for overall wellness and my fitness. Karen is a god send. funny, whimsical, and attuned to the needs of her patients. 10/10 would return. But hopefully not anytime soon ;)

I had physical therapy with Karen for 4 months following a knee scope to clean up cartilage damage. The care and therapy I received here was phenomenal. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and I'm back in great shape able to do everything I want to do at the end. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

The Athletico team made my recovery from injury very easy and pleasant. Communication for setting up appointments, follow-up instructions, and reminders was great. Flexibility with appointment times also made it easy to fit into my work and life schedules. Rachel was a great therapist...very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. She tailored my treatment specifically to my main sports and work out routines. I would highly recommend this Athletico branch and will definitely come back if PT is needed again.

I went with a knee and back problems. Karen Groulx was lead physical therapist and she design fantastic program for me. She is very experienced and very knowledgeable. Karen is also very patient and fun to be around. The whole team at this location is very friendly and helpful. I am happy to be able to be without the pain and play tennis again! Respect to the whole team!
