Athletico Physical Therapy - Lake Bluff

I've been going to Athletico for a couple of months. This isn't the first time I've been to physical therapy, but this IS the first time I've been to the Athletico in Lake Bluff and had such terrific care. My therapist Katie, is absolutly amazing! She is attentive, and explains what she is doing and how I can help myself with the pain of a torn rotator cuff. I feel so lucky to have found her and this place (they all seem terriric). I couldn't recommend them more!! From the receptionist to the therapst, they are all extremely attentive!!

I have been going to Athletico since September as recommended by my doctor to try and treat my torn meniscus. Dr. Chams referred me to Bjorn. From the start Bjorn showed genuine interest and concern trying to treat me. After a few weeks it was clear that I needed surgery but I am confident that my therapy prior to surgery gave me a head start in post surgery strength. Bjorn has been very attentive to what my needs may be for the day and targeted those specific areas as they varied throughout my healing process. Bjorn does a wonderful job explaining the reasoning behind each exercise and treatment and the benefits from doing them. The entire team at Athletico Lake Bluff is personable and caring. Nikita, Jase and Katie are all great too. They all really work great together and make an awesome team. I highly recommend them for all your physical therapy needs.

I went to Athletico for chronic knee pain and was fortunate to have worked with Abbey. Right from the start Abbey was 100% attentive, listened, and asked questions. She's very knowledgeable and most important really cares for her patients. She taught me how to do the correct forms on many workouts in order to take pressure off my knees. Because of this, I can now relieve some pain from both my knees. Abbey gave me excellent care, she's very dedicated, and made me feel better in no time. If you find yourself going to PT to Athletico in Lake Bluff, I highly recommend you work with Abbey, she's just amazing. If there were more stars to give I would be delighted to give her more!

The staff at Athletico in Lake Bluff are excellent. I chose this location as they have provided PT/OT services for other members of my family who praised Bjorn and the team. They were absolutely right - this is an excellent facility with kind, caring and attentive staff. They got me back to my "normal" self after knee surgery in a very short time - or better said - in a minimal time given my level of fitness and determination. Additionally, the facility is very clean and follows Covid protocols! Do not hesitate to reach out to them with questions. I will definitely return should I need PT services in the future!

The entire staff at the Lake Bluff Athletico is amazing! Katie helped me through back surgery recovery and Bjorn quickly helped me address a recent issue with my hips. Nikita helps to make everyone feel welcome and provides great guidance on exercises. I don't want to ever need PT again, but if I do, Athletica Lake Bluff is the place I'll go!!!

From my first phone call to my last visit at Athletics I felt welcomed and in good hands. The full staff seemed genuinely concerned about improving my physical health. Abbey did a fantastic job of improving my arm strength and motion. I appreciated the time she took to explain how the exercises worked and the reason behind doing them. She took time to answer my question and genuinely cared about how I was improving. I would highly recommend Athletics To anyone in need of PT

I was experiencing pain in my right arm & shoulder where I had surgery 5 years ago for a torn rotator cup. My orthopedic surgeon ordered physical therapy at that time & I requested Katy who had previously been the PT at my Dr.’s office. She and all others working at Athletico were fantastic. So, of course, when my Dr. recommended PT again I chose to return to Athletico in Lake Bluff & Katy. Katy, and the rest of the therapists; Bjorn, Jase, & Abbey, are extremely professional, helpful, kind and friendly. I actually enjoyed my time there & learned many exercises I could continue at home on my own. My arm is feeling much better & I have been released to continue on my own. Had a very productive sessions , I just been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis and Bob who is my PT help me a lot with coping with pain physically and emotionally. The whole staff is so accommodating with my off hours schedule and so pleasant! I highly recommend this place.
